Sponsorship Opportunities

Moncton.Net is seeking support from other companies in it's ongoing work to develop Moncton's Own Community Website, www.Moncton.Net. We have many events planned for this and next years! Some of the events are online, and some off-line. Become a sponsor of these events!

Who Is Moncton.Net?

Moncton.Net is an Internet success in the making. Moncton’s online portal contains a comprehensive business directory, news events, and information about the Greater Moncton area. It is an Internet marketplace to display other businesses.

  • Sell advertising, marketing web design services to local and global businesses
  • Our business plan is part of our commitment to the planning process. We will revise this plan every year with our financial advisers.
  • Moncton.Net is the most modern of all major websites in the region. Our goal is providing commercial, public and community information for Moncton and surrounding area!
  • Moncton.Net’s aim is to develop itself as a brand. It is comprised of two brand words: Moncton (city name) and .net (Internet). We want this brand to be for local people what WALMART or CNN is for the world.
  • Mass appeal is important so our editors create content for all audiences, including the ones typically ignored: teens, seniors, immigrants, new comers, and religious people. We want to represent every person living in the Greater Moncton area!
  • Quality assurance is something we take great pride in providing to our costumers. Moncton.Net is dedicated to bringing excellent content and services. We have highly educated and motivated professionals, which were trained at Stanford, Cambridge, and Ryerson.
  • Customer Satisfaction is why many businesses fail or grow.Moncton.Net is committed to leave no customer unsatisfied.

On this site, you will find information about the range of services we provide. Moncton.Net is an electronic business directory, entertainment news, and nucleus with the latest information, discussions board, reviews, previews, chat and more covering local and worldwide events. MissionStatement

As the popularity of the Internet continues to grow at an exponential rate, easy and affordable advertising is quickly becoming a necessity of life for any business.

The Moncton.Net e-commerce project is the natural evolution for the Moncton's and New Brunswick’s www presence. The site will market and sell selected services and products. It intends to produce web products that will increase market share, promote name recognition, and maximize efficiency.

Moncton.net mission is built on the hypothesis that the management of information for business is like legal advice, accounting, graphic arts, and other bodies of knowledge, in that it is not inherently a do-it-yourself prospect. Smart business people who are not computer savvy need to find quality vendors of reliable services and support. They need to use these quality services as they use their other professional service suppliers, as trusted allies.

Moncton.net is such a vendor! It serves its clients as a trusted ally, providing them with the loyalty of a business partner and the economics of an outside vendor. We make sure that our clients have what they need to expose their businesses to local and global consumers as well as possible, with maximum efficiency and reliability. Many of our information applications are mission critical, so we give our clients the assurance that we will be there when they need us.

Moncton.Net offers an innovative place to display and interact with other business and entrepreneurs, the Web educators, and the world in general. It generates traffic first, valuation for investors, and eventually commerce and profits. It is a healthy place for kids and teens to play, for parents to shop get information

Vision Statement

The only way we can hope to differentiate well is to define the vision of the company to be an advertising ally to our customers. We feel time and exposure will be the only factor in order for us to be able to compete in any effective way with the top sites who have existed for years before us.

The benefits we sell include many intangibles: confidence, reliability, knowing that somebody will be there to answer questions and help at the important times.

Some of our services are complex services; services that require some knowledge base and experience to use, and our commitment are to help educate our customers while selling our services.

Our Values

Moncton.Net is committed to these fundamental values:

  • Emphasize service and support
  • Build a relationship business
  • Focus on all businesses as key target markets
  • Deliver what we promise on time

The marketing of the site is built around the core value that the site will offer. Although many of our competition have built simple online stores for ordering the services, we feel Monctonians will review the Moncton.net site as a great destination. We will build our revenue and market share around this traffic.

Excellence & Participation

We believe in the right of all New Brunswickers and Monctonians to participate in our community and its development, with an equal opportunity to pursue personal excellence.

Fair Play

We believe in fair play characterized by mutual respect, equity, integrity, and trust.

Responsibility

We believe in sponsorship and its leaders have a responsibility to educate all participants, to foster the values of ethical behavior for participants of any size.

Tangible benefits

Tangible benefits refer to the quantitative benefits in a package, both measured and non-measured. Based on Moncton.net valuation standards, some of the tangible benefits and their values include:

1. Identification on non-measured media (banners, signage, etc.)

2. web site visit —and cost per visit

3. personal access (sampling, mailing list)

4. web site link; advertising

5. identification on measured media (advertisement)

Intangible Benefits

The benefits we sell include many intangibles: confidence, reliability, knowing that somebody will be there to answer questions and help at the important times. Intangible benefits are the qualitative assets that a sponsorship delivers. Examples include networking with sponsors, the prestige, and exclusivity. While Moncton.Net study has been successful in assigning numerical values to quantitative benefits, qualitative benefit valuation remains a subjective process, relying on the expertise and experience of the Moncton.net sponsorship professionals. Regardless, intangible benefits are extremely valuable (sometimes more than tangible benefits) and should be taken into consideration when valuing your sponsorship needs.

The Market
Despite attempts to create a universal formula, the reality is that much of sponsorship is qualitative in nature. As a result, it may be a very long time before there is a universally accepted valuation process. For now, most sponsors need to simply examine the marketplace to determine what their needs may be worth. By comparing your event or program to similar sponsorships that exist, you should be able to get a good idea of your sponsorship value. Of course, you can always test the market with higher prices but run the risk of detracting a potential sponsor.

Don't miss the chance to be a sponsor at a festive and educational evening of exquisite wine and gourmet food treats. Moncton.net is proud to announce the presentation of its 1st annual Moncton.net event.

On Saturday May 14, 2005 at Delta Beausejour in Moncton will work together with the restaurant to offer a scrumptious tasting of wine married with fresh flavorful tastes of innovative dishes prepared by Delta’s most creative chefs.
The event opens at 6:00 p.m. and the evening will end at 11:00 p.m. During this time there will be presentation appreciation including a demonstration of what we are doing in our community and online.
