Meth Users Go Downhill Fast: Meth takes a physical toll on users ??? they usually have bad skin, bad dental hygiene, dilated pupils, jerky body movements, paranoid and aggressive behavior. They smell bad, sweat excessively, and are desperate for more speed.

Meth can be made almost anywhere exposing innocent people to its dangers. We all pay the price
Recent health studies report that methamphetamine fumes and residue cause damage after exposure to the drug. Police, EMS workers ??? and even motel guests ??? can be EXPOSED and HARMED.

It can be manufactured in the house next door, the apartment upstairs, the adjoining motel room. Explosions and fires often occur because of the dangerous chemicals used in the "cooking" process.

The homes of meth users and "cookers" reflect neglect and obsession with the drug. These photos were taken by law enforcement after the cookers were arrested. See how close the meth jars are to the pizza box.

The residue from methamphetamine can remain undetected long after the meth has been cooked. Babies and children playing in houses where meth is made, stored or used can be burned or injured because of chemicals and adult neglect.

These are the horrific conditions children of meth users and cookers live in. Meth ingredients litter areas where babies play and live. This child is covered in battery grease. Social workers and law enforcement officers have rescued over 15,000 children from meth labs.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 4:24:28 PM :
but at the beginning they sometime have to go for a pee test   before getting their dosage
oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 4:30:59 PM :
that is done at the public health clinic not at the pharmacy
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 4:31:59 PM :
jean coutu use to cllect it   maybe they changed it
oneandonly wrote on 9/25/2006 4:32:11 PM :
what about a high risk?how many times are they allowed to fail before being kicked out?  what about skipping dosages?
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 4:34:03 PM :
missing dosage   will cancel you but   falling useually depends on your conditions   or how bad you are
oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 4:34:08 PM :

oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 4:53:43 PM :
glad to hear you were not a customer well neither was i
oneandonly wrote on 9/25/2006 4:59:22 PM :
SOMETHING IS JUST NOT ADDING UP ,HERE. are you sure they get booted if they skip their dosage?
oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 5:03:18 PM :
only thing i can be sure of is that they get their drug at jean couteau and have to take it infront of the pharmacist.there are at least two that i know of that have stolen different things at this drug store so much that the pharmacist brings the methadone to the door and watches them take the drug

oneandonly wrote on 9/25/2006 5:10:52 PM :
do they ween you off methadone or do they just feed it to you for the rest of your life.?
oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 5:13:04 PM :
like any other drug they have to be weened of methadone too
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 5:17:08 PM :
they  ween you off but it takes a very long time for some it years
oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 5:18:52 PM :
kind of thought it would take awhile
oneandonly wrote on 9/25/2006 5:22:46 PM :
is that why the success rate is so low/?
oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 5:23:39 PM :
very likely
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 5:27:23 PM :

well i trhink the real reason for the success rate to be so low is that most people   on the program do not get the money support from welfare ...

so they go back to the street to make the money and after a while fall victims to the drugs again because of stress

Bring on those tea bags baby!

Oh, oneandonly, I have afew friend son Methadone; it's just as nasty as heroin.
oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 5:44:44 PM :
the system is simple replace one drug with another
spyn wrote on 9/25/2006 5:50:47 PM :
most of the drugs the people who need this program are on, are not the everyday drugs, They are hard core and hard to get off of. I've seen people use the program and have it work, and I've also seen people stop doing these types of drugs with no help at all. It's all in how much a person wants to quit. There is no way to force a person to quit if they're not ready. Oh, and apparently it's government funded in Ontario. Go Figure.
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 6:00:27 PM :

yes it is just as nasty   as heroin just legal and easier to get  ...

but if you are so special wwjd why did you not know anything about methadone .. you see this is one of the ways i help people  you do not have to preach high and low to be on  god side ...

you do not need to put down anyone beliefs either   all you have to do is help people and respect them for their belief   and hpoefully on the long run change them to the right way ,god way

oldman wrote on 9/25/2006 6:03:38 PM :
i hope you can help a few of them too

You know a little about Tea Bags too, eh?
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 8:52:58 PM :

yes i do and i also know know that you smoke your fair share of them before you turned hypocrite  and took God  as your fake leader

no i am not calling God fake  i am saying that by an act of hiding behind the cloth of God now you think that you are the only perfect person on this earth

well surprise   you are not    and neither am i

I smoked my "fair share"?

HAHAHA

I think I may have smoked pot 4 times in my LIFE.

Duh.
notme wrote on 9/25/2006 5:13:35 PM :

i agree   on that but many of those guys and yes gals never could hold a job because of their substance abuse  and espescially at the beginning of the program  they need support money wise for their mmt ....

since most of them get welfare  of about 290 a month because they are classified by     a person that does not known any better as being able to work

notme wrote on 9/25/2006 5:03:27 PM :

well if they skip their dosage they will have withrawals so that means they will have to go to another source to stop them ....

anyway that is the reasoning  but  there is always exceptions   they are pretty reasonable over there if you cooperate   with them

Paladin wrote on 9/23/2006 7:24:53 AM :

I think that they should Put Pictures like these in Every School, mall, club..

What a waste...

notme wrote on 9/24/2006 4:48:20 PM :

paladin that is a very good link

now how about rehabilitation of those druggy

many of them are on the  methadone plan  which keeps them from using  the street drugs but it does not stop them from stealing for it because this socall cure (which is addictive just like the rest) does not come cheap   and nothing covers it   not welfare ,drug plans  nothing at all

oneandonly wrote on 9/24/2006 5:53:08 PM :
I was under the impression that the methadone was government sponsored program.
notme wrote on 9/24/2006 5:57:48 PM :
no it not a sponsored project       gee it for poor people usually so they will not sponsor it
oneandonly wrote on 9/24/2006 6:01:11 PM :

anyone have any information about the local methadone clinic?
mindy rae wrote on 9/24/2006 8:54:30 PM :

No I didn't know that moncton has a local clinic.

In some communities (especially in the US) children are no longer allowed to bring in homemade baked goods to school because the utensils being used to bake with are also being used to cook meth with.

This is not just a poor community problem. In fact this is considered one of the designer drugs and is being used by everyone from childrenn soccer moms, CEO's, religious leaders, Teens, Middle aged, Lower/middle/upper class citizens.

This stuff is so easy to make that it can be made any wehre there is a flame and a sink.

notme wrote on 9/24/2006 9:04:29 PM :
it not exactly a clinic  it a doctor that sees them at the detox  center
oneandonly wrote on 9/25/2006 3:47:16 PM :

notme wrote on 9/25/2006 4:13:54 PM :
