Saturday night games once again dominate the Maple Leafs schedule with Toronto playing 27 times on Saturday (19 at home and eight on the road). The team will also play 18 games on Tuesday, fifteen at home. The Maple Leafs only play five games on Wednesday (two at home) and do not have any home games scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The busiest months for the club are November and March as the team plays 14 games in each month. The busiest home months for Toronto come in October and March (eight games), while the busiest road month will be in November (eight games). The Maple Leafs will close out the regular season schedule with a home game against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday, April 7.
The NHL will continue with the adapted regular season schedule format where the Leafs face their Northeast Division rivals eight times, while continuing to face off four times against the remaining teams in the Eastern Conference. This season they will host the Northwest Division (Calgary, Colorado, Edmonton, Vancouver and Minnesota), but will not see action against the Pacific Division (Dallas, San Jose, Anaheim, Los Angeles and Phoenix). The club will face the Central Division (Detroit, Nashville, Columbus, Chicago and St. Louis) one time each, all on the road, for the first time since the 2003-04 season.
