Olympic Hockey '2006

Who is the favorite to win the gold? I have Canada as the favorite.  The Canadian coaches and most of the players are the same as the last Olympics and World Cup so they should gel and come together in no time.  Players wise they have arguably the best goalie in the world, the defense is mobile and mean, the forwards have a ton of skill and goal scoring as well as grit.

The Czech have Jagr and could ride Hasek all the way so I'd give them a slight nod.

Russia has tremendous forwards but lacking in goal and defense.

Sweden is always strong but without Naslund and Forsberg it'll be tough, plus they are still searching for a goalie all these years.

But for now I have my money on CANADA!
