She shoots SHE scores ! It looks like 97 million dollars worth of canadian men`s hockey talent wasn`t enough to even bring home a bronze.sssssss... The women who don`t even earn a dime made Canada proud by thumping over Sweden clearly unchallenged.. In fact as of today 14 of the 19 medals Canada has won in Torino were won by women Are the Canadian men being outclassed by a more better group of world male atheletes ?.. I don`t think so. the men have had as much opportunity to win as the women have and the difference is that the women have won.. Looks like the men will have something to prove when the winter olympics come to Vancouver in 2010.. Now come on fellas you wouldn`t want to look bad even in your own backyard... would ya? You only gotta get 14 medals ! LOL !
yeah, that's funny you noticed it too, Canadian women really rock, and they keep winning Hockey golden medals, two times in a row! But guess what, none of them can even dream of the salaries of their men counterparts! Now you tell me where is justice....
Canadian women do us Canadians proud.. I know the whole country would of liked it better if it was the men`s hockey team that won the gold but we are an amazing country for having 20 medals ...They will probably never get those kind of salaries but i think the canadian olympic committee should start paying off the gold medal winners like Italy does.. Italy gives $139,000 thousand dollars to any olympic athelete who can win the gold for their country.. Now that`s an incentive !
...they are a bunch of girly man...(lol) just kidding. Being a Canadian hockey fan I am feeling the sting right now. It's always tough getting knocked out before the medal round. But don't forget about the athletic accomplishments they pulled off in Turin. Two gold and two silver medals. Plus, Brad Gushue's rink is guaranteed of at least silver in men's curling. Hockey aside, it was a sensational day for Canada. I'll shut up now. I think while they did run into some hot goaltending at these Olympics, but they simply took too many costly penalties. Ouch!
