Charity Begins At Home...But Doesn't End There!!!

SweetMelody wrote on 4/20/2006 6:23:07 AM :

"Every day, throughout New Brunswick, a group of people who???ve given many hours of his or her time to responding to messages in forums like this and countless other to help and answer questions or to just to brighten up someones day. But sometimes what we do not know is these people who are helping others need help themselves and  are subject to hard-times.

Take the example of "Oneandonly." While working he is not able to buy a computer so that he may continue to bring a smile to someones face.

And then there???s Wuddle, leader of the Forum. Wuddle is missing the messages he once received from "oneandonly" and may be feeling very sad at the moment.

And let???s not forget Sudent either. He is wondering where his online friend and support has disappeared to? Which lets us know how important this person really is and greatly missed by many, including myself.

So please, dig deep, for only 5.00 including tax, may we continue to support our fellow New Brunswicker and neighbor "Oneandonly". And you don't have to be a New Brunswicker to open your heart to someone.

Please give genorously, Your generousity will be noted,

Thank you very much!

That is such a sad story. I can donate $5.00 just as long as it helps.

Yes, it does and we should start giving right here at home. So rightfully if one our fellow men need us we should stand tall and stand proud.

hey now i've only been missing for less than a week, and I have almost got all the redtape sorted out with the childrens custody.I still have alot of calling to make for lawyers and I have a decent communication with her family at the moment as they have surprisingly been quite understanding to my dilemma. and as always I miss talking to you guys as well.

You seem to be a very special person to a whole lot of people here. It's always a nice gesture when people are concerned (I wish people were as concerned for me. when I go missing..lol) and you must be some special cause that's all they seem to talking about. Ok for example I haven't been here for a few months and no, I mean no batted an eyelash. So I think you should be enducted into the "Special Hall of Fame"...lol

So, "oneandonly" are you saying this post is null and void. Because I was ready to send my weekly allowance to Mel or Willie.

I guess it goes to show that communities are alot closer than most want to admit or consider. Even if it is an online community.  When one of their own goes missing they take action. Case in point: Melody's post earlier this week.

I have come to realize that online communities are very accepting of people and is great in this way-- because you are not being judged by what you have but, rather the content and basis for your discussions. Another really good part is the diversity - the fact that it doesn???t matter who you are, your skin color, religion or anything else. Everybody here seems to have something to say whether it's good bad or indifferent but at the end of the day all is well  and if you don't like something someone say: well the forum is always open for debate. I love the freedom of speech aspect of it, and that is what makes each of us unique in this arena.  I quite like the diversity of this little forum and good people reside here.

well said.there is a reason people stick around.

...I just want to say that many people like and respect you here. Atleast that is the way it appears here and that is a great thing! I am sorry to hear that you are having a challenging time and I hope you get your family affairs in order so to keep you sane. My advise is just be patient, breathe a lot, take short brisk walks and call on your friends because that is what they are for. But I am sure many of these forum memebers will let you lean on them as well.
