Gemstone Collection

The Moncton Public Library invites the public to visit the library to view the mineral and gemstone collection of well known stone collector and jewelry maker Hans Durstling.
He presently cuts gemstones, both in traditional and designer shapes, does occasional stone restoration work, carves in New Brunswick alabaster, gives lessons in gem cutting and goes out digging as often as he can.

This display of gemstones and jewelry will be shown during the month of June and you can see it while visiting the library at 644 Main St., during open hours: Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM and Friday and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After June 19th, the library will be open Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Tuesday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM. .
