They're supposed to be a 12 hour charity event. I was hoping somebody would say Morse Code Alphabet. I know the old Clockwork guys will be there but I forget what their new band is called. Somebody told me 12 bands in all. I might have to borrow back my rent money and go check it out or, shudder shudder, bring the gold card out of hiding.

My kick to the pants. When I worked 50 or 60 hours a week I couldn't get a $100.00 overdraft. Now that I don't work I get a Card I can't afford to use. I'll sell my empties and buy us each a sub and a bottle of water.

Isn't that always the way. But you know that's just a way of encouraging you spend every little cent you do have and even if it forces you starve.

So do you think you have enough to get an extra sub? Are you going to O'briens tonight?

 

I can always find enough for an extra sub there, Celesty. I think my landlord/ brother and myself will be heading over to O'Briens later if I can borrow part of my rent back. The event is for a good cause and starts at noon. Plus Brian, who owns the place, is a good guy worthy of my business. Oh, and there are good beer prices, too.   What the heck, this is GST month and I do have a birthday coming up in 16 days, so what the heck.
