I love Moncton!

Moncton is a great Place to reside. What do you think?

Personally I feel we are lacking some things here in Moncton but, we have a great place which is still young and will grow in time to catch up with the rest of the world. I feel Moncton is a safe great place to live and visit. Like anywhere else you will find the colorful people who want to make the life of others hell and give us all a bad rep, but in its totality Moncton is sweet.

I love Moncton. I live here and a nice looking lady named Jackie lives here.
willie c wuddle wrote on 9/20/2005 12:33:58 AM :
Hey, Jackie..............You are a dynamite looking woman, Please keep being sexy.

What do all of you people that love Moncton think of Victoria Park?
willie c wuddle wrote on 10/1/2005 10:57:31 AM :
Victoria park is a nice park. The new band stand looks like it could be a skateboarders paradise. I like to stop at the soldier statue and the firemen memorial when passing through. It looks like it is a lot safer to go through after dark now that they thinned the bushes out a bit. I get spooked sometimes passing through at night because the same cars seem to circle around and around it. All in all I think it is the third best park in the Moncton area, Centennial Park being the best, and Waterfront Park being the second.
Starry wrote on 10/1/2005 4:03:51 PM :
someone recently asked me for the name of the nicest apartment house near Victoria Park and I didn't know....Willie seeing as you seem to know the area..would you be able to answere that? Thanks
willie c wuddle wrote on 10/1/2005 9:40:16 PM :
Their are a few appartment buildings near Victoria Park. What are you looking for exactly? Freedom, parking, cheap rent, etc??? Are you looking for a duplex, boarding house, or shudder......an apartment building where you will have rules coming out of your (_|_)???
Starry wrote on 10/3/2005 11:28:29 PM :
Mr. Wuddle.....my (_l_) ................has enough problems..thanks very much..so forget the apartment....didn't know there was rules!! What is your favorite side street off Main St to live on...and dare I say..in an apartment? HAHAHA!
willie c wuddle wrote on 10/4/2005 1:19:34 AM :

I always liked the area between High and Church Streets. Lower Cameron Street has some nice looking apartments but look quite costly. You're probably better off looking for a side by each place. More freedom that way. I'll never go back to living in an apartment building again.

Wow, so excited to see this page.  I moved away from Moncton 30 years ago, but my heart will always be there.  Hoping to find a chat room and/or people I know.  Give me some advice if you wouldn't mind.

Mr. Wuddle thank you so much for the reply...would like to hear more about Lower Cameron Street and what is your opinion of costly?
willie c wuddle wrote on 10/17/2005 7:31:23 PM :
Lower Cameron St has a great big huge apartment building just off of Main St. Across from the big building are 2 smaller apartment buildings. Further up Cameron St are 2 more apartment buildings. The big building looks like it might start at about $600.00+ a month. It has inside parking and really looks like a great place. In my financial case anything over $450.00 a month is costly. Sorry for taking so long to reply.
Starry wrote on 10/18/2005 2:29:20 PM :
Mr. Wuddle...thank you so much for the info on Lower Cameron...I guess I can assume that to live in one of those apartment buildings one would have to have a pretty large monthly income...ohhhhhh and never be sorry.....I know you are a pretty busy fellow!
willie c wuddle wrote on 10/21/2005 7:35:35 PM :
Actually, most of the time I'm really busy just trying to find something to do. The reason I take a while to reply is that this site has so many crooks and nannies....oops (hee hee) nooks and crannies it takes me a lot of time to get around. Have a good day.
Starry wrote on 10/25/2005 12:01:04 AM :
well if your looking for something to do then how about describing Weldon Street for me. You did a great job describing lower Cameron!
willie c wuddle wrote on 10/25/2005 6:57:37 AM :
Lower Weldon St is mostly small business and motels. It's close to a Tim Horton's and Highfield square. Right above Main St is the other side of the fancy looking big apartment building from Cameron St. Just below St George St is a recently remodelled apartment building which seams fixed up pretty nice. From St George St to Mountain Rd is mostly people's houses with Victoria Park and Edith Cavall School in the middle. It appears to be a nice low crime area and a great streat if you like collecting Tim Horton cups.
Starry wrote on 10/26/2005 12:58:12 PM :
Mr. Wuddle......excellent job of describing that area for me....you mentioned Highfield Square so I ask another opinion from you..what do you think of the A&W there and also what do you think of the A&W restaurant on Main St. Thank you for your input.
willie c wuddle wrote on 10/26/2005 2:02:42 PM :
I never ate at the A&W in Highfield Square. The food was pretty tasty at the A&W on Main St based on my last trip there about a year ago. The one in Champlain Place has quite tasty food based on my last trip there about 10 months ago. I wasn't too keen on their lack of ice in the root beer. Tte reason for no ice is that the root beer is served at perfect temperature. The trouble is with getting a large cup it is no longer perfect temperature when you drink the second half of it.

Thanks for the info Mr. Wuddle..now here is one more question for you...how far is it from the Top Deck restaurant to the University of Moncton?

Moncton is an racist insectious little hole but who could have predicted that giving it's history? And furthermore who cares? Holes are good though... Like for example a hole in one. Watering holes are fun on a hot day. I suppose a homosexual romance with an android wouldn't be out of the question in this town...many of the incestious relationship with one another has GOT to stop! I like Moncton I just dont like the people... and I do mean the people.

It's about a 15 minute walk to the bottom end and about a 20 minute walk to the Morton Ave end.

So Punk..what is it that you are saying here....are you saying that most of Moncton's people are homosexuals? I have wondered about the gay parade as to how many there are actually in Moncton...but never heard it quite that way before...just wondering!

Maybe I'm wrong on this but I think Oprah did a show once and Moncton was voted The Gayest City In North America. I hope this is just a romour because I always thought it might be San Francisco or maybe Hollywood. Did anybody see this show and is it true about the survey.
Punk wrote on 11/13/2005 12:43:47 PM :
Ah...Yup! Most of them are flamers, yup flamers. But they all hide behind their wifes fancy houses, gas guzzling SUV and high paying exec jobs, and on their lunch breaks trying to pickup lil'boys in the washrooms at Highfield Square.

Punk..I only know one gay guy in Moncton...doesn't bother me that he is...but it does bother me that he lies about it..he got married and had a kid so everyone would think he was a real "man".....but he is just living in denial....its obvious that he is still gay and always will be....and those washrooms in Highfield Square....scary man!

I didn't see the show but my brother told me about it. I thought he was B.S.ing me. Now I will never wear that pink shirt I got 5 years ago.

OK Mr. Wuddle...got another question...how far is it from the top deck to the Golden Age Moncton? Thanks ever so.

If you mean Club D'or on York St (near the skateboarder's paradise church), I would say about 20 minutes.
