Subject: Red FridayJust keeping you "in the loop" so you'll know what's going on in case this takes off.RED FRIDAYS ----- Very soon, hopefully, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday.
The reason? Canadians who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority".We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. We get no liberal media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Many Canadians, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of Canadians supporting our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday-and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that..Every red-blooded Canadian who supports our men and women afar will wear something red.By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make Canada on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. It will not be long before Canada is covered in REDand it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on.The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is...
"We need your support and your prayers."Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example; and wear some thing red every Friday.
In the Bible, red was the color associated with prostitution. The church I grew up in wouldn't let us wear anything red - shirts, shoes, nothing. Recently, there has been a study done which shows exposure to red to heighten one's sex drive.
Therefore, I cannot in good conscience participate in this activity. I fear I may cause someone to lust ... and we all know that's forbidden.
There's not a filthy word in my post! It was a sensible explanation of why I cannot participate in this! There may be others who feel the same way! My my, don't we take things personally here?!
For the record, I fully support our troops. I just feel badly that they're in a position they don't need to be in. Canada will most certainly be the next nation attacked now!

That made me laugh....
Come on. You said someone sinned because they didn't want to wear red. I find that ridiculous.
We are all going to hell!
