Thank you.

HaHa you're too funny!!! Hotels in and around Moncton have been booked up since before the concert was officially annouced back in April/May. If you want to stay in Moncton you're going to have to do what thousands of other people are doing.....Sleeping in a Tent!!

This Concert should have been in Halifax where they can accommodate a lot more people than Moncton can. Oh well, sleeping on the ground won't hurt for a night or 2!

Like Mick Jagger said, "You can't always get what you want, but you might find, you get what you need"

Heck, I live in this town and can really enjoyed camping on the mountain for a couple of days. To me it felt great to get out of the house and sleep in a tent. It made me feal 20 years younger. If you ever need accomadations and have a hard time getting a place to stay Moncton has a brand new YMCA.

Why have the concert in halifax. Aren't the only 2 places for concerts down there The Metro Center and Citidal Hill?

We called a week before the concert and got a room at Rodd's Park House Inn. Apparently there were last minute cancellations for about 9 rooms, that were available.

Ive lived in Moncton my whole life.... Its almost comical to find people that arent from here keep bashing the fact that "the concert site was in the middle of no-where".  But where else are you gonna find a place that can hold 85,000 people... ? (AND MORE! Wink  Citadel Hill will not hold that many people.  Secondly, The Metro Center can only hold under 10,000 people...
Hoooooooooray MONCTON!!!!!!!
Camping out in tents is almost a delicasy to us Monctonians... We're all savages...
Who's up for roasting weiners and marshmallows over the fire???

We booked our rooms with the Beacon Light Motel in the spring. Word was, nothing would be available within the surrounding 100 miles. I believe, aside from a few late cancellations, that was the case.
Cheers to Moncton for doing such a great job hosting this event. I am only disappointed for the guy in the room next to us at the Beacon. He's military and at 7am Saturday morning he got the call to assemble for the gulf coast. No show for him. He missed a good one. Thanks to the staff of the Beacon, and thanks to a well organized city of Moncton. Voodoo Whewoo!
Cheers from your friends in Nova Scotia.

I've got a moose steak and a bottle of golden nut. Nothing wrong with camping out and whoever calls Magnetic Hill way in the middle of no-where must be used to camping in their back yards. It was an excellent time and I pedalled half way to Shediac to shake the guy's hand who gave my brother 2 tickets today. Ouch, the sunburn only hurts when I type.

I never liked moose meat til I visited Trout River in Newfoundland. Combine moose meat and Black Horse beer (with onions and bisquits) and Wahoooooo. My best memory of Newfoundland was being on back of a snowmobile going down Main St to the beer store, Thanx Chaney for the memory. Sorry if I'm rambling but it was an excellent time. Hats off to Trout River.

I'm glad I ended up not getting a hotel room. Camping out at the Ace campground was half the fun. I had a blast. If they have a big concert next year I won't even bother calling any hotels, because ACE is the place!!! cheers!!cheers
