I work with a guy who plays banjo with some bluegrass band. I guess he's pretty good, I never really heard him play though.

white building right across from riverview middle school off cleveland.they play every friday at around 8 pm.everyone brings instruments and plays or just listens to the music.they just pass the hat to cover the hall rental type deal.her dads band (high on grass)usually plays backup for anyone who wants them too.they call it picking parlour night.

you are most welcome, actually its a pretty cheap night out and fun to boot.bring your own refreshments and snacks and watch the show, sorta like a down home atmosphere.I had alot of fun when I go.best thing is everyone is welcome to participate,so you hear alot of new tunes.

unfortunately there is no show this weekend and their final night is april 21.I guess they only do this for the winter months.but I can still get you show dates for other events in the area .

Starry wrote on 4/12/2006 9:59:38 PM :
I think the others are winter months too with the exception of summer festivals.

bluegrass shows are ussually not advertised but when you have an inside source .she mentioned your interest and im sure he is making a list.I have never meant a family so obsessed with music.they all play  multiple instruments, really quite amazing to watch them.
