So, BThumper,
Don't be surprised if no one answers this post.
That's the most abhorent barrage of meaningless rhetoric I've heard in a long time (Pierre Trudeau, 1971).
Do the words, Tammy Fay Bakker, mean anything to you?

I didn't reply because I didn't really have anything to say. That wasn't really music to me, that was just some guy preaching over some background music. Back to my playlist now....

The very reason I enjoy Jesus and His Love and offer of forgiveness so much is due to the fact that when I read such ignorant and uneducated posts such as your's, meant only to demean and degrade, I can only thank the Lord for His Grace.

Prior to my conversion, I spent 6 years in a lifestyle of drugs, alcohol, crime, theft, lying and everything else imaginable...

By the Grace of God I was Redeemed from taht trashy lifestyle.

Lastly, I was also as ignorant an filthly mouthed as you are presently...

No offence, but you're plain rude.

I didn't force anyone to hear it; I asked.

Try repect.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend.
I have been layed up for awhile and all I can get on the TV are those Vegamatic commercials. You know the ones where for two and a half hours they try to sell those amazing slicing machines to all those smiling faces in the audience.
And, the info commercials featuring the hundred and something year old guy selling the juicer......

Hype. Hype Hype HYPE....

My saviour is a very private person. My saviour is not a used car salesman.....

Sorry if I seem RUDE. I just have more respect for my own religious convictions than some others, I guess.

Did you believe that because I am a Believer in Jesus I fall for the televangelists on TV?

Tammy Faye, Baker, Benny Hinn(Hinndrance) etc etc....as a Believer, part of ICM (Our outreach) is to expose these false prophets as wolves.

Not all Christians are cons; go to our website...everything is free.

ICM, which I own and operate, which has one office here and in the UK, produces mass materail for people who are strapped financially....and we give it.

This costs aprox 300 per month, JUST for bandwidth.

Not all of us are trying to sell something.

As with anything, there are real ones and fake ones.

It's not a very informed individual who poses as a religious intellectual and then bunches all Believers into the same basket.

YOUR god and it's followers may be thieves and liars yet don't make the mistake of claiming OUR's is like your's.

No offence.

Yousimply make statements which lack any informed and intellectual insight.

Personal opinion is far from fact, my friend.

Thought you might like to re-read your statements.
I was not "lumping".
What I heard from your URL was, and forgive my bluntness, BIBLE THUMPING. Some people get off on that. I was raised in the Baptist religion and believe me I have seen evangelists and thumpers supreme. It was my last minister that made me think. He was less a thumper and more an invoker. Without trying to sell something, he asked, why not buy in...

Please don't presume or mistake my fifty-nine years of Christian belief as uninformed or fake. "intellectual insight?" When you have graced this earth for almost six decades and seen what I have seen then I think we can sit down and do the intellectual thing.

When I dialed up your URL, I was expecting music! What I got was televangelism. Sorry, but that's the way I heard it!

Oh, and yes, I am glad you've cleaned up your act. Bravo.

When you read my post, didn't you see that the implied factor was a CHRISTIAN message set to music?

You "dialed up" the url because you were given that CHOICE; you CHOSE to listen to it and then give a bogged down opinion comparing me/the music to Tammy Faye and televangelism; such a comment was uncalled for.

Many claim Christians are judgmental, but that statement alone is a judgement in itself....

Friend, I'm not here to angrily debate, name call or demean another person OR that person's religious beliefs.

We are here to open one other's thoughts up to the possibilities of other views....we are not here to ramble on pointlessly into the dark, shooting down other individuals with words.

I feel sad for you, friend.

Ahem...
