White House Defends Port Sale to Arab Co.

WASHINGTON

The Bush administration on Thursday rebuffed criticism about potential security risks of a $6.8 billion sale that gives a company in the United Arab Emirates control over significant operations at six major American ports.

Lawmakers asked the White House to reconsider its earlier approval of the deal.  So much for Homeland Security.

The sale to state-owned Dubai Ports World was "rigorously reviewed" by a U.S. committee that considers security threats when foreign companies seek to buy or invest in American industry, National Security Council spokesman Frederick Jones said.

Ok! Ok! Isn't it about time for Conservatives to realize Bush is not? I am professing to be either, but I don't run the US government. He runs up the debt to record levels, want Americas ports manages by Arab countries, and he is a conservative? No way!

However, what is funny is many conservatives consider Republicans representatives to be frauds and Democrats representatives to be murderers. So they vote against the murderers more than we vote for the frauds. That's what I called compromise.

Ever since Bush came into power I have been saying for years that Bush was lying and selling out but I always get people defending his war. Now, I wonder what creative answers Bush can give for turning over ports to the Arab countries. The same thing happened to Israel by our arm twisting and look what is happening? !! Wake up morons!

Conclusion: The United States is paying a communist country, known to be infiltrated by terrorist, to hire mercenaries to protect their borders. I do not see anyway to put that in a good light.
