HBC Sellout

EXTRA, EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT....

Canada's oldest retailer Hudson's Bay Co. has reached a takeover deal with U.S. businessman Jerry Zucker worth $1.06 billion.

The deal was "unanimously endorsed" by the board of directors, HBC Thursday.

Fortier governor of Hudson's Bay Company also went to say that: "We are satisfied that the amended offer constitutes full and fair value for the company. You just sold a part of Canadian history to the Americans dips.h.i.t

I think HBC decided that as long as they got a little bit of sweetener, so they could look a bit better, they would take the money and run."

Zucker already owns 19 per cent of Hudson's Bay, and he has promised to continue to run the retail giant, that is until he changes his mind.

"We are committed to enhancing our customers' shopping experience through a substantially greater focus on service and revitalizing the spirit of the organization. Horese manure!

Hudson's Bay, established in 1670, has more than 500 retail outlets across Canada. Which now is American owned.

It's only natural if your heritage is richly steeped in violence and deception. It's in line with the culture of America. It's built on the backs of immigrants and why should anything be sacred even if it was founded by Canadians.
