Good Listners vs Poor Listners

Did you know that your right ear has a different job to do than your left ear?  Did you know that we all have a dominant ear? Did you know that it makes a hell of a difference whether your right or left ear is your dominant ear? It is said that people who are right ear dominant learn much more easily than those who are left ear dominant. In hindsight, that is quite logical. The right ear is directly connected to the left brain, the brain that processes language.

So the next time you are listening to someone, and your mind and eyes start to wonder, remember HEAR. Don???t just sit there! Listen! It could save your job, and your marriage.

I lost the haering in my right ear in an industrial accident and found that my left ear had to compensate.it took yrs of frustration (kinda like a right hand person trying to use their left arm).

That is interesting. I am somewhat deaf in both ears so that is why it takes me forever to learn anyhting.

that's very interesting info.  i guess from now on when my mind starts to wander, i'll just turn my right ear a little to the person speaking and maybe i'll listen better
