Do You Like The HATE Sign?

Obviously you're not going to like the sign you see below...and neither do I.

The man holding this sign calls himself a "Bible Preacher".

His name is Ruben Israel and he;'s a sick demented man who tells people "God abhors *hates* you.

Now, for you NON Christians, if you SAW this man in YOUR neighbourhood holding THIS sign and saying this to YOU, how would YOU react?

your right sass i dont like being pused into hearing preaching if i wanted to i would go to church. NOT that im against religon but i dont like it being pushed upon me. no offence WWJD but the same would apply if i seen the same guy on the street to.

Hi fireman... no offence taken; I don;t like the guy holding the sign either...he's what we call an "abomination".

Also, our preaching here is MUCH different and we don;t push it on others. :)

If you really didn't want to hear the Truth, that Christ died for you on the Cross. Why would you continue replying in the manner you have in all topics. Maybe you are searching, but don't realize it. I pray you don't get offended, its just something I have observed.

Ya he probably is a bigot and an A$$ hole but what can be done about it.

To me any preaching outside of a designated church is pushy and rude and will be ignored.

I would probably give him a chance to say what he had to say. If I beleived it I would listen to more. If I didn't beleive it I'd try not to listen. I beleive everbody should have a fair chance at saying what they feel like saying. Without that fair oppertunity to say what we want all of our freedoms will be taken away one by one.

The cat is doing great! Mr. Tanner has gone outside a few times, but under my watchful eye; hehe... he's got no claws, so he wouldn;t be able to protect himself against the other kitty's, so I let him go under the steps and in the parking lot...and every single evening he comes to sleep beside me, then at my feet once I'm done petting him...he also comes when I call him... every single time; he's AMAZING! Smile [:)]

And Willie, the reason I aksed about the guy with the sign is because I believe he's a shame to the Christian Faith and all who would agree with holding a "God hates you/abhors you" sign is a shame to the Faith of Jesus Christ.

I'm compling responses and then having an open letter sent to him... I've already written Ruben and called him a demented lunatic so I'm not sure how far the letter will go; but i t may help to see some of my own personal friends veer away from Ruben.

Yes, Ruben and I share many of the same beliefs, yet he sees people through eyes of hate and name calling while a Biblical Christian sees through the eyes of Love and Compassion.

Huge difference, as I know you know Willie.

I honestly don't think GOD hates anybody and that guy shouldn't be slandering GOD by carrying that sign. GOD may not like the things people do but I think He loves us all. No difference if you're the person on the sign or the person carrying it, I think he loves them equally. I do, however, wonder which side of the sign irritates him worse.

Agreed...the forums here have been pretty toothless lately, to be blunt.

God doesn't hate any of his children, he loves us all unconditionally.  But, we still have to earn our way into His Kingdom.

Maybe I really don't know the meaning of love. Because there are times in my life when the ones I should love the most are the most challenging!
