I watched Amazing race this evening and it is a great show. The gay guys are sooo funny. I heard they won't let Canadians apply for the show and that sux.

I just finished watching the amazing race. I feel sad because the gay guys were eliminated.  They were the funniest part of this show. So iguess we will see what happens next week.

I am rooting for Gretchen and Meredith...they totally surprised me the other night with nothing but the shirts on their backs...they didn't give up. She is a very strong lady, and I admire her courage and strength as well. Hats off for them, and I hope they make it to the final 3 if not second place or even first but that may be a long shot.

I can't wait til the new season begins. I really loved the last show, what's funny is most of my friends hate that show. Check it out sometime. Yes, it's fast but who wants a reality show to lag? Not I. I am looking very forward to the new show.

I am looking forward to the new show. I have been watching for it but I have seen nothing. Does anyone know what is happening there?

On your mark, Ready? Set? Go! And so begins the The Amazing Race 8: Family Edition...sound likes a board game but it's reality tv? uhm! 10 teams of 4 began their amazing journey in New York, New York. The teams headed to the Delaware River and re-enacted Washington's River Crossing. They camped out for the night, and resumed racing in the morning, heading to Pennsylvania to do some farm work. In the end, the Black Family ended up eliminated in 10th place. The funny part about the whole thing is the Black family really was black. Did anyone else see that show?

I do not know if any of you watched the amazing race, I did. I was hoping the underdogs, the Weaver Family would win. But sure enough they lost. They were a little too obnoxious, pathetic in the end and it cost them 1 million $. So sorry Weaver Family.

I quite like the new show but you are right SweetMelody too many people, too fast, very confusing, but I do like the program.

The Schroeder Family got Eliminated at were they live. I was hoping The Gaghan Family would lose. I was hoping it was a Non-Elimination Leg only because I don't want them to get Eliminated where they live. And what is even worse is that they don't know that Hurricane Katrina will come and destroy New Orleans, Louisana. Darn!
juju wrote on 10/18/2005 11:44:33 PM :
Try embarrassing. But I think they were actually farther behind the Weavers and Gaghans than the editing let on.

I know the Gaghan's will eventually, but I'm glad it didn't happen in the first four. They should've picked the Work Detour from the get-go. If the Schroeders hadn't taken the wrong turn, they would've managed to stay in, too, and maybe both teams would've beaten out the Weavers.

I must say right now, the only members of their family I'll miss are Stassi and probably Hunter.

I like the Gaghan family. There like the underdogs, and get so damn lucky.
I think its Gaghan, Linz and Bransens that are my team. Stay tuned!

Frankly I don't find anything "amazing" about this show. It's may the best, fastest whining, family win.

No soup for you...it's a great show!

"Bringing a boring end to a boring season" Amazing Race 8 Is won by the Linz family. And new car was won by the Bransens.
Amzing Race 9 (11 Teams Of 2) Begins February 28, 2006 and I hope this season will be much better than the last.

I hope I am not the only one who feels this way but I feel compelled to say this.I found the last episode so disappointing! Because of the arrogant, loud-mouthed, and rude Linz family, there was really no genuine appreciation shown for the final three teams finishing the race. How sad!! I felt for the Weaver family who persevered throughout the race, and was sorry to see the Linz family walk away with the million dollars, when all they did was berate and make fun of the Weaver's. Just for the record, I am not a religious person at all, but found the Linz's approach to belittling the Weaver's religious affiliation to be thoughtless and condecending. How dare one of Linz boys call one of the Weaver girls "thunder thighs!" Maybe he should have a look at his own sister, or ask her how it feels to have someone call her a name like that! This season makes me want to re-think my ever tuning in for the next seasons show!
