Moncton doesn't have enough people to support that. If you go in bigger cities, you can find a radio station for just about any type of music, but that won't happen in Moncton any time soon. Even if a station played the type of music I wanted to hear I probably wouldn't listen to it much. They'd probably just overplay the songs I like until I didn't like them anymore anyway
I'd rather get the CDs (or mp3s) I want and that way I can choose what I want to listen to when I want. Plus, I like to buy the CDs to support the artists. Especially if I buy it right from the band at a concert or from their website.

C103 is ok if you like classic rock, K94 generally plays total crap, XL96 can be either annoying or funny, considering I don't care for country....especially that new country....gross.
When I do listen to the radio, it's usually CBC, mostly Radio One (1070 am) lately too. Mmmmm....talk radio. Other than that, you can find some pretty cool stuff late at night on CBC's Radio Two, or CKUM, the UdeM student radio.
Speaking of which, if you're looking for some new music to listen to. Cool bands that you may have never heard of. Bands that bring something new to the table. Check out Spectum Obscur(e) on CKUM 93.5 fm at 11 TONIGHT!. The 2 guys who host this show are my main sources for new music and lately I have too much new music, and not enough time to listen to it.

I don't listen to C103 very often but when I do, I feel like I am going into a time warp. They need to update themselves and stop playing 1970's stuff. It's dated and frankly I don't wanna hear it, so MP3's or buying music is the way to go.
Time warp is a good way to describe it.
