The Democrats threatened ABC/Disney over "The Path to 9/11" - but what's so extraordinary that legislators in the federal government would use their power so...cravenly? Apparently, the truth hurts. (UPDATE: and now Clinton's lawyers have weighed in)

RedState (thanks to the folks at Traditional Values Coalition) is proud to present, the video in dispute. It's broken up into six segments. (UPDATE: Clip synopsis here)

Democrats reaction to this miniseries telling the truth of the huge failures made by the Clinton Administration to combat Terrorism is hypocrisy at it's finest. Democrats only care about protecting Clinton's legacy and the truth doesn't matter to them. The Path To 9/11 shows President Clinton had 8 years to deal with Terrorism before 9/11 while President Bush had only 8 months, do the math..

What a load of republican propaganda hooey.  They're doing so badly in the polls they'll advocate anything now to prop themselves up before the elections in November when the dems are poised to take the house back.

The fact of the whole matter is, 9/11 happened under Bush's watch, no one else's.

September 11th has become the day to commemorate the fallen and the heroes of the attacks on New York's Twin Towers and the Pentagon in Washington, DC. Since that day in 2001 we have learned much. Our liberty and our heroes have been and are being defined.

We have learned that security in a free society is not secure. Liberty is maintained by restricting some freedom. If all freedom is to be allowed then we cannot expect to have secure liberty. Liberty is maintained by responsible freedom.

Hero material is in everyone and manifests itself by action when the need arises. Our military, police and fire forces are heroes just for making themselves available knowing the dangers they may face. Fortunately only some will have their fortitude tested. Many civilians who survived, and some who did not, showed us bravery by acting upon the needs at hand.

September 11, 2001 is a day that will be remembered for the loss of that day and to honor the heroes of our society. Those who have sacrificed and those who still live proving our American resolve. We give our gratitude to all of our American heroes.

Unfortunate you say that.

Had Clinton, Mr. "Please everyone", had have taken care of the Islamic Extremists who were already bombing the US Embasy and ships offshore, possibly Osama-Yo-Mama may have been in custody.

Regardless, Clinton was too busy working on his neigbours in the Ival than Foreign Policy.

Bush dealt with Clinton's mishaps.

Wow, that's funny!  LOL

Obviously you're not aware of the years-long close relationship between the Bush family and the bin Ladens.  The Bush administration had the information that 9/11 was going to happen and they did not act on it.  Regardless, it's the reaction to the incident by the U.S. that has the world in the state that it's in now (re:  looking for imaginary WMDs in Iraq, in a nation that didn't even have any scud missiles left).  We'd be a lot better off if they'd stayed out of Iraq and concentrated fully on getting bin Laden, the one solely responsible for 9/11.  No one can argue that.

No... what Bush is doing is finishing what his father started....Bush doesn't know wether he is coming or going.  This war started in 2001 with hunting down and capturing dead or alive..Bin Laden..then how many wars started later I have to ask..what happened to hunting that man down at all costs??????????????????

It's terrible that we should blame either Democrats and Republicans for a war which was started by Islamic Terrorists.

I renig my previous statements on Clinton.

The real enemies are those who call for Jihad on Westerners.

Islam is the enemy; not the West.

I think it was the Bible that originally said that money is the root of all evil.  That's really what it comes down to doesn't it?  Oil = money.  The middle east has a lot of oil, thus a lot of money.  Thus, Bush and his minions, all partners in the oil industry, want to conquer that land to fill their pockets more.    Let's not forget that the U.S. aided bin Laden when Afghanistan was at war against Russia, and the U.S. aided Iraq in their war against Iran.  All these moves are strategically calculated, and they are all centered around republican governments like Reagan's and the two Bush's.  Don't get me wrong; I'm not exactly a liberal, but not really a conservative either.  To me there are things wrong with both sides.

Not all Islamics are extremists, JD.  We can't paint everyone with the stroke of one brush.  We have to be careful not to generalize.
