Have you ever hated yourself so much

That when you look in the mirror

You turn  away in total disgust

At the image looking back at you?

 

Have you ever been in a crowd of people

But never in your whole life felt so alone?

Have you ever tried to hide behind clothes

In fear someone will find you as revolting as you find yourself?

 

Can you feel the tears in your eyes

When you wake up from a fitful sleep

And dread getting out of bed today

Because in bed nobody can see your face

 

Have you ever wanted to be alone

Away from those who made you this way

Have you ever wished and prayed, and cried

To be someone, anyone, but yourself????

Yes, I have felt that way before, and feal like whacking myself in the side of the head for putting myself down. Bulert, it sounds like you are your own worst enemy. You really come down on yourself too hard. Smarten up and respect yourself more or you'll miss out on what the rest of us see in you. Sorry for sounding off but I try say it the way I see and mean it.

Who said life was easy? If it was we'd all be relaxing and missing out on it. Hurdles are fun. I have a challenge for you based on a challenge I once recieved. Make a list of 10 things you want to do before you're 20. (In my case the age is 50). As you do one cross it off the list and replace it with another. Keep track of your progress. As your list changes think of what you've done. Feal good about it and yourself.

Bulert: I agree you are hard on yourself. Your only young and I relize that there is so much presure on teens today. You have hang with certain friends, wear certain clothes, live in a certain area. We have all been there. I think you have to take a really hard look in the mirror and realize that the person looking back at you has a big heart, smart, fun and has a great personality..But no matter what be true to yourself.And don't be so hard on yourself...

Thats just it. I refuse to take part in fads, i hangout with anyone who i think is cool, and i do not do anything anyone else wants me to because i hate conformist.I live in the sticks..LOL~! I am just very honest with myself. I am not hard on myself..i dont htink so. I think i am realistic
