SOMETIMES dont you just want to be alone?

Sometimes I just want to sit by myself and cry

To cry without judgment, without ??? its okay???

I want the tears to flow with no shame

Screaming a mixture of curses followed by your name

                       

Sometimes I just want to scream out loud

With nobody to hear me, they wont udder a sound

All the pain I have bottled inside, I want to pull the cork

And let it flow out is violent rivers of torment

 

But everyone???s watching, and you have to be strong

Smile big enough to convince the world nothing is wrong

But if they knew your shame, if they knew how what you felt

They would just leave you alone, in your solitude, to let it all out

Your right is because of the wrong-doing of someone else..your very good at reading between the lines eh?

and there is a little shame in being fooled

Bulert, your poetry is very deep and profound for some one your age.  It is also so good to see that you have an outlet where you can vent your feelings, so many don't or at least feel they don't.  Monkeyman is right about that being life, but if he thinks that it is that easy to get over, then perhaps he is the one that is not living.

Cry when you have too, love because you need too, and if all else fails laugh and keep them all guessing.

That's a good idea. I have done poetry for my school before, the only grade nine to do it. In grade eight i did it in front of an auditorium of 360 people. Scary. I just find too many kids let out their anger with violence or non-creative abuse to drums or even walls. I use poetry because it is productive, plus every year in my poetry unit, i just pass one i already did in. So it works  in a few areasBig Smile [:D]

being alone is not a choiuse, but a state in which you feel. I can stand in an autorium with all pf my friends ( many) and still feel very very alone

thank you guys, i have not written in a while, the last i wrote was about my friend who died..i dont like my poetry when i read it back..but i feel if i dont write..ill just get smothered by it all
