"When You Are Old"
William Butler Yeats

...and dream of the soft look your eyes had once...

When You Are Old
By William Butler Yeats

WHEN you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim Soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

Dare You...

Do you love
Do you dare to love
Do you feel
Do you want to feel
Touch my soul
Touch hy heart
Touch my skin
Come on in
Do you care
Do you want to care
Do you see
Can you see
How we can be
Touch my soul
Touch my heart
Touch my skin
Come on in...

Fake...

Outside it shines
Inside it grows darker by the day
People see the smile
I feel every endless mile
Laughing among them
Crying without them
Alone, confused
Always afraid

Dare...

Dark clouds cover the earth
The sun the sky
A worthless search
Thunderous sounds
Dark hallways
Throughout an empty house
A soul alone
Silent cries for help
Can anybody hear
The building inside me is fear
will I be loved
Will someone care
Will you hold me
Do you dare
Through the window I stare...

This one isn't a poem....Just love what it says....

First Kiss

I imagine sitting alone, in a dimly lit room...discussing ideas, dreams and passions.  We are sitting close..but not close enough to touch.  I want to reach out and make some type contact with you physically.  I listen to you talk and watch your lips form words...I can barely concentrate on what you are saying..My imagination is running wild thinking of how you would taste.  Are your lips soft..will they be strong or gentle...Will the kiss if we connect be hungry with desire or passionate with lust...I need to touch, to taste...to feel...Have him so close to me i can hear his breath elevate when I look through his eyes.  My need to know is growing with every moment passing...Will he............................................................

            G. Linnaeus Banks said,

"I live for those who love me,

For those who know me true,

For the Heaven that smiles above me,

    And awaits my Spirit too;

For the cause that lacks assistance,

For the wrong that needs resistance,

For the future in the distance,

And the good that I can do."
