    I love Christmas!

My little girl's getting excited and that has a trickle down effect from kids to parents.

    Happy birthday JC!

Yes - this IS the reason for the season! Thank you, Cloud, for the ever timely reminder. Smile [:)] I always tell my kids that Santa Clause is like the clown at the birthday party: he's fun, but he's not the reason we celebrate.

As with any good birthday party, though, I plan to enjoy the presents I give away and the trinkets I manage to bring home. The food will be wonderful, but this year I'm most looking forward to a quiet Christmas in a cabin with my family. It won't be the same without our youngest this year, but this is not the first year we've gone through this, so hopefully easier than last year.

I still say we're gonna need snow before I really feel like Christmas .... if anyone can do anything about that, let me know. Wink [;)]

    At least 3 feet. Whoosh!

Would be nice to have it tonight. Then I don't have to worry about my little guy missing school until I figure out if it is indeed the measles he has. Again.

I'll happily shovel. It will be good exercise. Big Smile [:D]

    Speaking of JC and Tims....

We went to mass at St. Bernard's parish last Sunday and then went to Tim's on West Main.  Holy crap, we had the best Timbits I think I've ever had, they were so fresh.  With hot chocolate of course.

Must be God's little reward for attending church.
