Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza : July 10-13.,2008

Canada's largest car show, the  Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza  hits the streets of Metro Moncton July 10-13.

The non-profit auto extravaganza has put any profits it has realized over the years toward helping the city build the water splash park at Centennial Park.

Chip Foose, the renowned auto designer and host of TV's Overhaulin', will be here.

we might as well hire the army with the tanks and special weapons   and ii bet it would be cheaper than the rcmp  and more justice would prevail

Re: Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza : July 10-13.,2008

The thing is, even though there was more "surveillance" around downtown, they probably didn't arrest/harrass/obstrusct/or impose on anyone.....at least not any more than they usually would. Did you happen to see anything that could prove otherwise?

The Atlantic Nationals is probably the single busiest weekend in downtown Moncton all year. Of course they're gonna bring in extra security. They'd be stupid not to.

Huge weekend long party downtown. Were you downtown that weekend? A lot of people were drinking. I see nothing wrong with road blocks. I mean, unless I'm drinking and driving, then I really hate them. Grr!!

Seriously, you just make a fuss for the sake of making a fuss. You got nothing.

it definitely sounds like you're afraid of them....

Why would they not have cops at hockey games? There's been some serious *** going down in rinks all over the country.

Oh, and that whole first paragraph was absolutely ridiculous. Seriously, what the hell are you talking about?

Re: Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza : July 10-13.,2008

yep      you are right that first paragrah is pretty duh

As for being afraid of the cops no i am not afraid of them i took them to court often for harrassment and won ....

but my reasoning is this for 2005 years we survived without all those extra cops and stupid laws that are a nuisance    ...what is the difference now and then besides more news so that we notice more of theevents going o

as for the 1 paRAGRAPH    I TRIED TO SAY THAT ROAD BLOCKS ARE ILLEGAL    since they are interupting me from flowing freely withing my country   ...... whihc is one of the rights we have in the Canadian bill of rights

It's hard enough to get across Mountain Road in a flashing crosswalk on a good day let alone when two classic muscle cars are racing down the road towards you. I hope the participants of the show have fun and show the new generation what kind of cars us old geezers had back then. Just don't run over us pedestrians.

No, I was driving and did the hitting. Just kidding except for hitting the post office on Main St, a parked car in Riverview, and a bridge in Hillsborrough.Embarrassed [:$]
