    What's on TV tonight?

What're you gonna watch?  Any suggestions?

It's Sunday, so the Grammys is the big deal tonight.  Personally I don't care, music generally sucks these days to me.  If the best we can do is Saline Dijon and Michael Bubbly I don't want any.

    Anyone dare to recommend something?

My TV is a bit different being Internet based.

    Here tonight:
Catch up on Eastenders (from Thurs and Fri last week)
    Primeval S2E5
    Shameless S5E6
Torchwood (I'm not sure on this one having taken a gay bent lately)

That's about it, I'm holding several series' and a couple of movies if needed.

An excellent show to watch out for is "Dexter", which will be shown on CTV (as well as source station CBS) I think starting next week.  In my opinion these days, the best show out there.  Dexter is a blood spatter investigator with the Miami Police Dept. who moonlights as a serial killer, taking out criminals that the law lets slip away.  It's an extremely well written show I couldn't recommend more, though it's originally from the Showtime network, so the CTV version may be edited for graphic and language content.

Too late for Dexter, Showtime already ran it last year, and the way CTV edits things, you will be lucky to have 30 minutes left, good for commercials though!

    Re: What's on TV tonight?

Showtime has run two complete seasons now, both excellent, expecially the second one.

CTV has run uncut Sopranos shows, so who knows.  But Dexter is very bloody sometimes.  They're running it, along with CBS, because of a lack of shows from the writers strike.  Dexter is a cable show that will get a run on network TV because of it.

I really hope it sticks on cable for originally run shows though.

I will be pulling it off of my computer tomorrow (.avi burnt to DVD) and can be borrowed, but I want it back to send to Afghanistan.

There is a warm place awaiting Peter Popoff in the afterlife....

I have a friend who is severly ill and clutching at all straws.

She called his number and they sent her a piece of green cloth to rub over the aflicted parts of her body, and then return it to them, along with a sizable donation, and that they would pray for her and have her cured.

sorry for the hijack of this thread...

That wasn't Peter Popoff with the towells. That was the guy on the show at 12:30 am. One has water and the other has the towells probably to wipe up any spilled water.

Her memory/mind is not the best at times..

She did receive both the towell and the water...

and as one of Gods Special Angels, she first offered them both to me.

"Moment of Truth" is on tonight.  Trash TV, admittedly, but like a car wreck, it's ugly but hard to look away.

I want to see what the top question for $500K is worth, if anyone can get that far.

How's it gonna be any good now that Fairplay is gone already??

I'll watch it just to look at Amanda, though.  tongue4 [tongue4]

I know what you mean but I just don't feel comfortable watching.

Eli Stone has been  good so far.
