    New Beer Store

That new beer store on Vaughn Harvey is really something. It has a big beer cooler loaded with beer. It has a bar right in the middle of it with two bar stools. I think this is for when they give out free samples. It is full of automatic doors. Best of all it has doors leading into the new Sobeys so you can get groceries while you're there. It is very convenient. Just don't drink and drive with the shopping cart. It's just too bad the busses don't stop there and it is a long haul, especially if you're carrying a few bags, to where the busses stop at Highfield Square.

I think a lot of their shopping carts are going to end up in front of Highfield Square.

I'm lost at this......Beer store is 57 Vaughn Harvey and Sobey's is 756 Vaughn Harvey but yet they are connected together.Uhm [uhm]

That could be right. Also, they could have been in a hurry to catch the bus.

They have put up the Blue Bus Stop sign in front of it on Main Street,,,although not all Busses pass by it.

    Re: New Beer Store

That new beer store is to darn convenient. It is too close to bike trails and other places I go in the area. If I pedal to Riverview I have to pedal past it twice. Looking at those new bike lanes on Vaughn Harvey, itself, is a reason to stop.

I like that store too. Very nice inside, but i think the cooler isn't cold enough. I always haev to put a few beers in teh freezer for a few before drinking it as it's not cold enough to enjoy properly
Just waiting till it's all over.

    Re: New Beer Store

I find it really chilly in there but I'm usually drenched in sweat from pedalling when I walk in the cooler.

    Re: New Beer Store

I don't find it too bad when i walk in but i notice when i get home (which is only like a 2 mins drive from the new liquor store) the beer isn't cold enough to drink just yet. But really nice store though.

    Re: New Beer Store

On Tuesday I bought a beer at the store on my way over to Riverview (in case of emergency). When I got back home it still felt a bit cool. I asked one of the employees if I could buy my beer then drink it in the cooler but he said it wasn't a good idea. There's room in there for a few lawn chairs. They could have a really cool mini bar in there.

    Re: New Beer Store

Funny, I am at the new Sobeys almost every day, but have yet to check out the liquor store.

I think it is time Codiac Transit review and rework their routes. I am sure they are looking at it.

Hey, did you hear they are giving free rides to seniors on Wednesdays all summer!! Great for seniors.
