Who knows? But it would be nice if that was true. Our country was built on, for and by immigrants, so I for one would love to see our government giving back as much as possible.

 i do not mind the immirgrant    it not their fault if us Canadian are stupid enought to leave our government pay for everything they (immigrants ) want   if i was an immigrant i would take advantage of our stupidity  ..

go in another country as an immigrant do you think they will give u everything   no

    Well, first of all I'm not a liberal. Secondly, what doesn't make sense about me wanting our government to give back to it's citizens? Also, I don't claim to know about other countries...I can't tell you what other countries were founded on and I don't know where you got the assumption that I could. Why do people on this board pull stuff out of nowhere?

Canada has a huge multi-cultural background. If you don't know that, then  I'm not sure where to start with you. How about Italians? Not just in Canada, but in North America. They came over here and built our buildings, sky scrapers, and homes. Don't twist this into me saying they did it all, because I know they didn't, but they did their "fair" share.

It boggles my mind how anyone can think there is such thing as a Canadian, who's heritage was always based on this continent. It just isn't so. Most Canadians' ancestries come from other countries.

Why don't you explain how my statement makes "no sense whatsoever"? This country has always welcomed immigrants. It's one of the things our government prides itself in.

So tell me how I make no sense. I'd love to learn more.

If I thought you would be able to comprehend the facts I would explain them to you. However I don't believe you can so I won't bother wasting my time.

 

I will leave you one tidbit to spend your time on... I am a Canadian.

You might not believe it or accept it.Who cares. It is a fact. Deal with it as you may and move on. You embarrass yourself otherwise.

    Also, I didn't say was only built for immigrants.

 You can say that I don't make sense, but you can't explain why? Perhaps it's because you're taking what was said, and making more to the story than is really there.
