    I went with "other"

For me, my other represents call center type jobs. Not so much dealing with the people on the phone (though in some cases I can see them being a stresser too), but more having to deal with the ever changing management decisions that contradict one another, for whom you are never doing a good enough job, and even if you are getting the results we want if you aren't sticking to the script precisely then you're doing it wrong.

What is not common knowledge to most is that 1 in 5 Health Care providers are getting Professional help from Councellors or Phyciatrists.

In this group you would find Doctors,Dentists, Nurses, EMT's, Medical Tecks, Counellors, and Phyciatrists.

    That's 1 in 5.

Firefighters...They see way too much and risk their lives daily to save strangers not knowing if they will be alive at the end of each shift

Parents. Every day we wonder what new emergency will come up, stress about how good/bad of a job we are doing, and about who's judging us. Most of the feedback we get is negative, and at any given time we could lose our "job" ... for whatever reason one of those judgemental people dreams up.

I would have voted forum moderators but I don't think they get a paycheck just lots of pats on the back so it's probably not a job.

I heard that it takes nerves of steel to be an Air Traffic Controller.  A lot rests on your shoulders, and there's only one per airport (at a time).

Moncton, not so bad.  London Heathrow, ouch!

I have never worried about any of that, nor had anyone give me negative feedback. That is sad that people around you are doing that to you!
I do my best to teach my kids, to prepare them for the world. Keeping in my head I am raising  future productive members of society. Adults that I hope are good to society, and that society is good to them. Preparing them for working hard for what they want; that life is not fair, but good if you want it to be. That is all you can hope for.

For a stressful job I voted health care. Those Drs and nurses are run off their feet, and all they hear is complaining. Must be such a thankless job.

This is true..My father (r.i.p.) was an air traffic controller for about 19 years...I remember hearing as a kid and over the years the stress that they all had...especially years ago before they had the technology they have now..Alot of controllers in my dads age were alcoholics
