They grow a complete range of fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs as well as herbaceous perennials.

Their purpose is to provide hardy, acclimated nursery stock for the colder areas of Canada and the United States. A dedicated knowledgeable staff combined with their fertile soil assure you will receive healthy, high quality plants. We hope you find their web site both interesting and informative.

They encourage everyone who can to come to the nursery. They maintain an extensive display garden and invite you to tour our fields. Have lunch at their Cedar Café in the retail store. Stroll through their huge plant selection then settle in with a coffee and a good gardening book or examine the Marr Collection in our upstairs gallery, a display of everything a farm family would need at the turn of the century.

The grapefest does have a fantastic Festival  atmosphere.

This is a great event to take the whole family to.They have music, a apple cider press, tours and much more. You can easily make a day of it.

You can wonder through their vineyards sampling almost a dozen or more different types of grapes.

I thought the Normandie Golden Nut wine was made in Scoudouc. Maybe they close down or moved.

    Re: Local Wineries

I have a Golden Nut bottle here. It says Cartier Wines & Beverages Niagara Falls, Oliver, and Scoudouc on it. I bought the bottle to make a lamp out of it. It was from a vintage month, Feb/2008, aged to perfection.

    Re: Local Wineries

I bet you get better lit than the lamp.

    Re: Local Wineries

As it was a two liter bottle I will have to thak the Fifth Amendment on that one.

    Re: Local Wineries

After I get my GST cheque I'm starting a winery of my own in the kitchen. Swill makes a great air freshener.
