XP PRO RULES !!!

Nothing pissed me off more then when Microsoft decided to make my favorite sequal game Halo 2 only available for Vista !  That really sucks !!! What the heck was that all about ? Every other games out there are mostly compatible with every other OS, why make it only available for Vista? Vista sucks anyways ! And most software that people currently own ,games,Prog, etc... won't be compatible with it anyways...so what in the world was that for ?  They shoulda called it "Visa", were your gonna have to blow your $ on new software all over again !

I'll keep my old operating system unless I'm either forced to change or I get a new puter with something different on it. It took me a long time to like XP and I have no intentions of changing yet.

 reading the spec for vista   ithink that it takes to much rams to work   we would have to get about 2 gyg of it    so that is a bit much

I totally agree. Microsoft is like anything else. trying to force people into something they dont want. My os is xp office and it works good. i wont be upgrading  because of the soft ware that will not be compitable with vista. If microsoft would just leave it as it is now like xp i mean, and not have to go out and buy new software just because  the os wont accept it. but leave it to bill he wont make any MORE money that way then will he

I remember discovering - and falling in love with - Windows 95. I remember discovering - and hating - Windows XP. Once I got used to it, though, I love it. So I could probably learn to like a new system if I had to ... but please don't make me have to just yet!

well i have 2 comp one with xp and one with 2000   i use the 2000 more because all my old software  ,printers, etc works with it but not with xp   so i cannot imagine upgrading unless i win a million

If it wasn't for the system requirements that it needs, I'd try it in a heartbeat. If everyone wasn't willing to try new OS's we'd all still be on the old ones. (I started on a commodore 64; man I feel old suddenly). I loved Windows 2000  it was my favorite. I hated XP pro at first, then I started digging around through it and enjoy all the little tweaks you can give it. I think eventually Vista will be as popular as XP but not before everyone can get all the necessary hardware at a good price.

Mikesoft is a real dictatorship (kinda like Hussein). Make a new product, and then hold a gun to everyone's head until they buy it. And where is the guarantee that it will work flawlessly, and not corrupt data, or say will be compatible with older software?

I AM FOR A BOYCOTT of VISTA!!!!

XP works fine for me.

PS just picked up a Futureshop flyer....guess what? All their PCs and Laptops come with Vista preinstalled....sux cuz the price is being put onto the consumer....

Wow, I ain't feelin' the love for Vista in here. 

I think I'll just wait until they get the bugs out of it first, in a year or two or whatever.

Is there anything positive to say about it?
