Anyone have a preferred way to roast a duck?

    Stuffed? Not stuffed?

In skittles, I don't want to see a duck, but for roasting, slow with a nice orange / maple syrup / dry mustard sauce basted over it. Wave Towel [towel]

Cheers. The orange basting sounds simple and effective.

You just reminded me of when I got 3 ducks in a row. Can you believe that? Nine balls and not one skittle knocked over!!!! It might even have been 10 or 11 with one just before/after the three ducks.

Not yet. I planned to do it with the Turkey for Xmas day. But my wife's not that keen on Turkey and if I messed it up she wouldn't have anything good. So it'll be chicken with the Turkey and I'm doing the Duck for New Years Day.

I think I'll coat it with marmalade

How did you get the duck to eat the apple? or did you insert the apple somewhere else?laughing [laughing]

I knew a girl once that was "big" into "insertion".

But eventually her "goose" got "cooked".

Don't know about ducks, but if you get some McDonald's french fries you can make a real killing on seagulls.
