another kick in the butt by our government and they want us to stay in NB

Power rates up, but rebate on way

New Brunswickers are still paying more for their electricity but will see a slight decrease on their bills as the Energy and Utilities Board has approved a 5.9 per cent rate hike -- slightly less than what NB Power had been seeking. More

Don't take it to heart, you will get a rebate....................

You want to know how many rebates I qualify for?

    0, none, nada, SFA

The only people I know who don't qualify for family allowance are a couple who both have government jobs, and therefore have too high an income. If you didn't qualify for family allowance, you did well for wages and should be proud of yourself.

I make less than $8,500.00 a year and I don't qualify for family allowance either. Of course it might help if I had some kids.

I have to agree, if you didn't qualify for family allowence, one would think you have enough money you don't need a extra allowence from teh Gov. Obviously, I get family allowence so I make way less money (I get the full cheque) than anyone that don't qualify. Man, I wish I didn't qualify either then Embarrassed [:$]

But you can't say "I don't get a allowence" when you don't have any kids to get the allowence for. If you would have kids, I'm sure you would get.

Haha I get you there, I even feel too old for another kid (we held a party at my house this weekend for a friend's B-Day and the subject came up. I guess my b/f would like to have another kid but they all laughed their a$$es off and looked at me cause they all know that is OUT of the question for me now lol sorry just had to add that)
