Your Three Favorite Albums Ever
So what are they? And don't be a knob and say "well, I don't have albums, only CDs". They're the same thing. "Album" meaning a collection of songs.
In no particular order for me, subject to change:

But in all seriousness I'm 49 years old. I have played a lot of toons in my time. I can't nor will I ever try to pick three or three hundred favourates of all time.

Favourite band is Steely Dan. I constantly change which of theirs is my favourite, but I have a special regard for the first one, Can't Buy A Thrill.
Bruce Springsteen's Born To Run is another possibility.
From more recent times, I might go for something by Reel Big Fish or Jimmy Eat World.

I can see how some people might have a hard time getting into them. Actually, I never got into their later albums... but in my opinion, this first one is absolutely brilliant, start to finish.
What I heard of their other albums didn't flow as well.
I'm not sure if they kept this up, but their first 2 albums were concepts. De-loused is a story about their friend who was in a coma, their 2nd (Frances the mute) was based on someone's diary...basically telling that person's life story.

Jesus Christ Superstar chronicles the last seven days in the life of Jesus of Nazareth as seen through the eyes of his disciple, Judas Iscariot, who has become disillusioned with the movement. At the opening of the play, Judas agonizes over his perception that Jesus' followers have become fanatical and unrealistic, hailing him as a god and twisting his words into monstrous prophecies. After all, in Judas' mind, Jesus is only a man--a man with certain inconsistencies, as evidenced by his relationship with Mary Magdalene. As the crowds in the street grow more and more out of control, the rift between Jesus and Judas grows. After watching Jesus lose control in the temple, lashing out at the moneylenders and merchants, then begging to be left alone when a crowd of cripples surround him asking to be healed, Judas is more convinced than ever that the man from Nazareth is just that--a man, and nothing more. He determines that Jesus, having lost control of the mob, has become dangerous and must be stopped. He goes to the priests and gives them all the information they need to catch Jesus alone so that they can take him prisoner without risking violence by the mob. After leading the soldiers to Gethsemane, however, and watching the events that unfold, Judas soon realizes that he has been tricked by God into being the instrument of Jesus martyrdom. Furious that the man from Nazareth will be remembered as a "Superstar," Judas hangs himself.

One of the premier songwriters of the rock era, Robbie Robertson was born July 5, 1943 in Toronto, Ontario. The son of a Jewish father and Mohawk mother, Jaime Robbie Robertson's first brush with live music came at the Six Nations Reservation, his mother's girlhood home; at the age of five, he also gained exposure to the country music of rural America. Not long after, he began taking guitar lessons from a cousin, and gradually began composing his first songs.
