I thought they were good questions. Also the food purchasing club is a good investment.

It probably is but I was thinking more along the lines of I love cooking and meeting new people. The trade off of actually getting leftovers is an awesome incentive though.

It's not leftovers. We plan what we want to cook the first day and figure what it will cost (usually between 50 cents and $1.00 a portion depending on what it is) then somebody goes out and gets the ingredients. The next day we go back and cook it. We divide it up according to how many portions a person pays for. Everybody eats well and gets to play in a great kitchen with lots of kitchiny stuff and two stoves I don't even how to work yet. I really like going and actually look forward to it each month.

OK, I see what you mean. You can eat some of it there if you want but if you get 4 portions of each like I do you'd better be mighty hungry.

Just show up on the tenth. There is room for a few more people. You can also call them anytime during the day to let them know.

I recieved the shocking news today. My bill at the Collective Kitchen tomorrow will be a whopping $4.56 for 12 portions of whatever we make. (donaire meatloaf, rice crispie squares, jambalaya, and I honestly forget what else we plan on making). I might have to go couch mining for change later on.Big Smile [:D]

That's amazing! Programs like that are rare, and Moncton is fortunate to have this one still running.
