    Re: Down on the farm

I remember the time I decided to start up a chicken farm.
I bought a hundred chickens to get up and running.
A month later I had to return to the dealer to get another hundred chickens because the first bunch had died.
Another month passed and I was back at the dealers for another hundred chickens.
"I think I know where you're going wrong" the dealer told me:
"I think you're planting them too deep."

    Groannnnn!

    LOL!

True one--->  When I was quite young I bought three hens and three roosters, a partner for each, so I thought.  Eventually I ended up with only one rooster and one hen.  I kept finding them dead, didn't know why.  One day my son yelled, "COME HERE QUICK MOM!  THE ROOSTER IS TRYING TO SMOTHER THE HEN!"  By the time I got there, a very weak hen staggered away to her death too.
