LOL at your story, Willi. Ya made me laff out loud. Ya never even got to drive it. haha ya made a dollar on it! Funny!
About 20 years ago I just HAD to have a motorcycle.....something in life I always wanted. I drove it maybe a week, then got a flat tire on the front, lost control and ended up with a broken collar bone. Bike got sold right away and I haven't been on another one since. I'm scart of em now. I could have been kilt! My helmet was scratched all to pieces so that could have been my head. I laid in the ditch a long time while these two chiwaaawwaaas barked and barked at me and an old lady stood on her deck yelling, "STOP THAT FRIGGIN BARKING!" Finally she came to investigate and I was happy of that as I was going into shock.
BlinkeredKitten wrote:Mine was nothing so grand as a motorcycle accident, sadly. It will be 3 years next month since I fell down 2 stairs while carrying a vacuum cleaner and broke my left ankle. Last weekend, I tripped down 3 or 4 stairs carrying a different vacuum cleaner and broke my right foot. Ya might say I don't have a leg left to stand on, hehehe. The good thing is that last time was right before my wedding; there's no major event pending this time. And last time it wasn't covered by compensation ... this time 'twill be.
Dang! Had surgery last time, but none this time, so I missed my chance to meet Paladin. ![Sad [:(]](/emoticons/emotion-6.gif)
Well, Blinker, I'm glad you have compensation. Good old Union benefits <---- thinking out loud. You'll likely have to have physio too later on ya think?
That's weird how you broke it having done that same thing before. haha about not having a leg to stand on. I say true, when it comes to lugging vacuum cleaners up and down stairs. Stop doing that!
