I know I can be a bit of a pain in the ass on good days and the heavy moderation that he said he didn't like to do only started after I came. Sue me for feeling guilty for perhaps being a contributing factor. You'd be surprised how little I think of me.

    Oh dear!

Paladin, take care of yourself and get well.  I'm sorry to hear you are in the hospital.  Ya don't get a ticket to that place unless they really think you should be there.

It was nice to read that a possi was formed to track him down.  You guyz really care about each other eh!

Oh no! Paladin, I hope you're feeling better fast! I must say, though, that you're lucky to have cute nurses looking after you. I broke my foot at work on Saturday, and I have only my hubby to look after me. He's too cranky to be cute most of the time these days, LOL. Take care!

I remember when I broke my foot in a terrible motorcycle accident about 20 years back.

    Re: : Paladin

Mine was nothing so grand as a motorcycle accident, sadly. It will be 3 years next month since I fell down 2 stairs while carrying a vacuum cleaner and broke my left ankle. Last weekend, I tripped down 3 or 4 stairs carrying a different vacuum cleaner and broke my right foot. Ya might say I don't have a leg left to stand on, hehehe. The good thing is that last time was right before my wedding; there's no major event pending this time. And last time it wasn't covered by compensation ... this time 'twill be.

Dang! Had surgery last time, but none this time, so I missed my chance to meet Paladin. Sad [:(]

    Re: : Paladin

Here's the horiffic story of how I broke my foot in two places:

I once purchased a Honda 350 for $125.00. It had a bit of a wobble so the guy I bought it from took it to a local back yard mechanic. It cost me $10.00 to get the wobble fixed. The bike was looking pretty good considering I only had $135.00 tied up in it. I proceeded to drive it home. I got a couple of blocks down the road and noticed it needed gas so I stopped to fill it up. I could not get the gas cap open. I tried and tried. Finally I put down the kickstand and straddling the bike really came on to it with both hands pounding and twisting it as hard as I could. The bike moved a bit and fell off the kickstand breaking my foot in two places. It cost me $14.00 to get taxis to and from the hospital. Now I had $149.00 invested in the bike. I sold the bike for $150.00 making $1.00 profit but ended up missing three weeks of work.

LOL at your story, Willi.  Ya made me laff out loud.  Ya never even got to drive it.  haha ya made a dollar on it! Funny!

About 20 years ago I just HAD to have a motorcycle.....something in life I always wanted.  I drove it maybe a week, then got a flat tire on the front, lost control and ended up with a broken collar bone.  Bike got sold right away and I haven't been on another one since.  I'm scart of em now.  I could have been kilt! My helmet was scratched all to pieces so that could have been my head.  I laid in the ditch a long time while these two chiwaaawwaaas barked and barked at me and an old lady stood on her deck yelling, "STOP THAT FRIGGIN BARKING!"  Finally she came to investigate and I was happy of that as I was going into shock.

Well, Blinker, I'm glad you have compensation.  Good old Union benefits <---- thinking out loud.  You'll likely have to have physio too later on ya think?

That's weird how you broke it having done that same thing before.  haha about not having a leg to stand on.  I say true, when it comes to lugging vacuum cleaners up and down stairs.  Stop doing that!
