Wahooooooo, I survived Earth Hour two nights in a row. What a great fealing looking out at 8:45 and seeing all the neighbour's lights off then looking out at 9:01 and watching them slowly coming back on again. It was almost like seeing damage already having been done (when there was darkness) then watching mankind pulling together and fixing the world (as the lights were starting to come on). I thought it was quite a moving experience seeing people from different walks of life all doing something in common. People you don't even know or have never met were doing the same as you were all sharing a common goal.

LOL  Willie doing it two nights in a row.  I almost did.

My neighbours, some of them turned their lights out.  A couple of them went for a walk and huffed about someone doing laundry during Earth Hour.  Next year I'm gonna get the cards out for a game in candle light.  The last 10 minutes were the longest.  I kept looking out the window to check to see if anyone turned their lights on early.
