His? Who? Do you mean God? What will you load me with? Don't bother. I've been confirmed...read the bible...all of that stuff. I just don't know why the believers stopped asking questions. And that's really it. If you believe in God....you've given up asking questions, and if you've done that, you do yourself and everyone else wrong. When you allow yourself belief without proof, you allow all of the injustices in the world. That means YOU are to blame for all suffering.

Yes. People who believe in God and believe in the Bible. Basically anyone who believes without proof. Would you think it's crazy to believe in a Spaghetti Monster? I would assume so....but why? If we don't need proof to believe in something, what is to stop us from believing in anything our mind can create.

It's just too simple of an answer. If you are going to believe in something you should know that it is true. There's a difference between hoping for something and believing in it.

And don't turn this into something that it is not.

Why would I turn it into something that it isn't...I am not religious so in turn what you have said has nothing to do with me....Can't say the same about the others..lol....but from me...Cheers!!

I just meant for people not to read into things that haven't been said.

You are on a forum and spoke of religion....good luck with that..lol..I constantly get misquoted..lol

I believe in " a "  Creator. Call him what you will, The Almighty, God, Elohim, Ywhw, or The Lord.

Believing in " Him" ,only raises more questions that I seek answers to. Yes some follow blindly, but most don't. I have / collect books on Religion. Have read large parts of the Bible, the koran, confusism, and just about any book dealing with the subject. My belief leads me to question and research.

As for proof of Creation, all one has to do is stop and look around us. Could this all be by " chance" or evolution. I don't think so. From a questioners point of view , there are just to many variables involved for it to have just happened to turn out the way things are.

 I consider myself an Eclectic Christian at best. I do not believe every word of the Bible. Why? Because man has had his hands in it for too many years. Trust in God/ The Creator? Yes. In Man? NO!!

Could this be by chance? Of course it could. Chance is something that has been happening for a very long time. It's been changing the whole time as well. So why is it so hard to believe this happened by chance? Regardless, you said it yourself. "I don't think so". Not "thinking" so, is not knowing.

I've read the same sorts of books you mention. I'm happy to have read many books on Buddism as well. I think it's with Buddhism that I gained my current state of mind on the whole situation. There is no point of going any further with belief, than what is in front of our faces. There is no need take your belief system any further. When you do take it further, you only cause problems for yourself and others. Look at the crazyness of the world today. If it wasn't for all of these miscommunications, misinterpreations and belief in the unknown, most wars would never have been faught. Racicism and descrimination would not exist.

Feeling a connection to the world around you is not proof of God, or spirituality. It is recognition of cause and effect. The world affects you and you have an effect on the world. You may have a connection to the world but there's no reason to create any more to the story than that.
