Possibly wimpy winos can't read. I'm a wino but I like Danish beer. It makes me act so Dan-ishWink [;)]

I bought some batteries, but they weren't included.

is the canadian BEER     CHEAPER THERE

I buy Labatt's Ice @ Macro...a British version of Cosco (although we have those here too) and a 12 pack is £8.99 or $18.00 cdn. and it's bottled in Luton, UK of course. Carling and Carlsberg are my lagers of choice and we buy 18 for $18.00 and a 24 for $22.00. Best thing is the special offers, like 60 Carlsberg for £22.00 ($44.00 cdn) @ Christmas. One thing to remember is a pint is a pint in the UK..not one of those piddlin' 355 ml. cans or bottles.Even the Canadian Whiskey is bottled in UK.

Only liquid product I've found so far that is bottled in Canada and sold in UK is....Maple Syrup

at about £2.50 or $5.00 cdn.

Grolsch was my favourite...with the stone cap.

Have you nipped over to France to buy? The savings are bigger than the cost of getting there.

Have you tried any (so called) 'warm' beers yet? Marstons Pedigree for example? A nice 'real ale' goes down a treat on a cold evening - 'cold' being relative of course.laughing [laughing]

I've missed the warm beers so far. As to France, I'm not able to even go to Ireland at the moment as the Queen has my passport. As soon as I get it back with my new visa my 1st trip planned is Dublin and the Brazen Head tavern which is over 900 years old. Then Isle of Wight for a weeks camping this summer. France, Holland and Belgium will be my 2nd trip abroad.

Doesn't she have her own? Is there a resemblance? laughing [laughing]

I can just see her going through passport control.....

I'd have a word in the royal ear but I'm not sure if she would remember me.

Does Grolsch really have a stone cap. I always thought they were made of tough plastic.

I must admit it's a while since I had one...and then it was probably on tap. I'm sure it was stone on some I had in Holland though. With a rubber ring to keep it airtight. The bottle that is!!!
