But that's not the point. If the problem was your problem, you're free to react how you see fit and it's you that would need to be prepared for a response.

In this instance it's you that's making the (gung ho) suggestion but someone else possibly paying for your suggested approach.

I know how Psycho Kitty reacts if somebody spits or puts cigarette buts in his kitty litter.

    Re: Neighboor Problems

So I have to tell you about my neighbors, who thought it would be fun to throw their glass bottles all over the street and in our driveway during one of their drunken parties. I got up early that Saturday morning to go to the gym, and was NOT impressed to find myself sweeping glass just to get out of my yard. We live at a 4-way stop, and there wasn't one street I could drive on that didn't have their glass all over it even AFTER I swept my own driveway. So I swept my driveway and the nearest street, but I emptied the dustpan directly behind THEIR car tires. Saw them a couple hours later cleaning it up so THEY could move, and laughed myself silly. It's been probably 3 or 4 weeks now, and guess what?! They still party ... they still break bottles ... but not in my driveway or on the street nearest me.

Maybe what you need to do - as disgusting as it sounds - is get a cheap broom and dustpan from dollarama. It should be used for nothing except sweeping up whatever they throw down on your walkway. Empty the dustpan at the foot of their stairs, or on the hood of their car ... or wait until they're asleep and put it right in front of their door. Bet you'd only have to do it once! And there is NO WAY a cop in his right mind would charge you for it. You were simply returning what was theirs in the first place.

Well the ciggarette butts I don't mind, it's cleanable, but it's the trying to spit on kids heads that got me all rattled up. He's a grow man well in his 30s adn doing this to a 8 year old and a 13 year old just sh*t and giggles. Makes no sence what so ever. I figured that if it keeps up, I'll go buy some kinda slimy crap and pour it infront of their steps (and door handle) so they can walk inside with crap on their shoes and mess up the floors (which they prob don't clean it anyways)
Just waiting till it's all over.

not if they smell it first

manure would be perfect for putting behind tires ... once they back over it, the smell will travel with them for a while Big Smile [:D]

oh my ... i feel a little guilty just thinking about these things, LOL

    Re: Neighboor Problems

Once a very resourceful person told me about putting a ping pong ball in somebody's gas tank. Eventually the ball will get sucked on to the gas line and the car will stall. The ball then gets released and the car runs perfectly until the ball gets stuck again. If the person takes the car to get checked out it will work perfectly. Then it gets caught again when he's driving home from the shop. This will drive anybody bonkers and should be only used in extreme cases.

    Re: Neighboor Problems

You might want to talk to the RCMP about getting a peace bond against them.  They don't get charges laid against them, but if they continue doing what they're not supposed to, they get charged.  That way you protect yourself from future retaliatory actions.
