Absolutely! I think it is important to have male/female socialization. If we do not it would be the biggest mistake of our time. Ok! Ok! The second biggest. But honestly I think we must in order for us to learn from each other. I love men so its not hard for me to want to have them in my company. Likewise I enjoy women and think that relationship is equally as important. But I understand the question was can men and women be friends I say YES!

I think guys and girls can be great freinds if they are both honest. If they start telling fibs or playing games to cross the thin line then it will most likely cause trouble.

Well I give a BIG thank you to all who posted their oppinions, And I say its all good here now. I sat down with my wife and talked about my friend and reassured her if you know what i mean lol that I am not out to replace her. She said she was fine with it so we will see and it was not that she didnt trust me it was that she thinks lowly of her self and so i think thats why she was not for me having a female friend. Its all good now and thank you Dr. Sass. lol.cool [cool]

Why would your wife think lowly of herself? She is a real wonderful lady. She makes good coffee, too.

    Re: Poll: Male/Female friendship

Some of the best friendships I have forged in my life were with women. I don't see any reason under the deep blue sky why men and women cannot be friends.

i agree but sometimes if a guy has a female friend and if he happens to be married there is alwasy someone usually in my opinion out of spite just have to inform the guy's friends and family that there is something else going on
