    Re: Declawing cats

    No.
What I said was, 'maybe your two years of "Animal Science"...' wasn't enough.

You man love animals and pets and soft fuzzy pink cotton balls, but please do some more research before you go off, hell-bent for leather, on a crusade that you know nothing about.

Perhaps learn more about the human species obligations toward forever altering the feral ergonomics of our own landscape would be a start.

    Seriously, cut another air hole!

    Re: Declawing cats

I am not quite sure why you are being rude. But my cat is fixed. All 5 of my dogs are licensed, fixed and vacinated....so are my two cats...so your problem is?  I never said anything about not fixing an animal...and I never would. The only thing I talked about was declawing...no mention of my not fixing my cat....wow...to much drama on here. Do you people just like to attack just to attack?

Still have no idea what your problem is.  Your ticked because I am against declawing a cat?  Not following your issue with me having an issue with declawing....nope don't get it.

Wardsha: You will soon learn that when debating everything is not made equal. I am not sure who you are or what your expectations were when you joined this board, but let me say, I am happy you are here and seem to be holding your own fairly well.

However, in this forum and many forums (depending on your topic, geographical area, level of education) are similar to this one. No different! A debate is a discussion in which reasons are advanced for and against some proposition or proposal, a process of inquiry and advocacy seeking reasoned judgment on a proposition. Debate allows for two or more sides advocating their positions on a given issues under some set of rules with some kind of judgment to follow from a judge or audience. Yes, granted some of the members get a little passionate from time to time but that is what debating is all about. Most of the people here are decent and may hold strong opinions, but are generally respectful. If someone says something that is out of line please don't suggest that everyone on here is that way. I think you are great and I like the fact that you seem to stiring things up around here. It was a little too nice really! Keep stirring this board is quite liberal ,within reason.

    Re: Declawing cats

Hey I am all for debating...but no wheres did I say I disagree with fixing my cat.  My cat is fixed...it says it on this thread and on the SPCA thread.  To be told 2 years wasn't enough of schooling...for something I didn't say...is a bit much.  I apologize for lumping the whole board as being like that...but this is weird to me.

    Wardsha,

    I am at your service.
I just went back through the thread and realized I lumped all over you for nothing.
Another member of Moncon.net, sent me into the stratosphere and I did the biggest ASSUMPTION, known to mankind.

I used to be a nightly visitor to the .net, but due to ever increasing demands in my life, I fell off and only recently came back....with too much verbosity (obviously).

Please accept my appology for coming across like a frickin fridge magnet on this one.

Welcome to Moncton.Net (from a complete jerk, at times) and my best wishes for a long and communicative stay!

Thank you for putting the reason where it belongs.

    Macdoug.

All is forgiven...I just wasn't sure what happened....my head was hurting.  You agreed with me earlier....then you didn't...really confused.  But thanks for the apology, I can take some advil and all will be well.
