Top of the mornin' to one and all. I have access to a puter for a short time so I have to type fast. My apologies to all the people who read slow but time is at a premium. It looks like a great day headed towards greater metro Moncton. Judging by the stream passing a few feet from the living room window I'd guess that it must have rained here last night so you people might have the rain now. If you do don't worry, the sunshine is on the way. It should be a nice day for baseball to make up for last Monday's game lost due to the rain.

Sunshine here, too. Baby crows sound like cats meowing - who knew?! Yesterday's little league game was hard to watch, but Thursday my boys play against each other. Maybe the gloves will come off and the game will see some real action. Big Smile [:D]

Today I am out and about on both sides of the border, rounding up donations for a silent auction. Hope all is well in Taterland ... and in the hot city. Smile [:)]

Things are good here. There are cats everywhere. When I'm of the couch one will go sailing over my head. When I'm at the puter there will be one under the chair and another under the deas. I opened the front door so they should all be out there in a few minutes. Mrs W is working the 12 to 8 shift so we are out of each other's way at times. Last night we went for a couple of take out pizzas. While they were cooking she decided to walk around the park across the street. While she was doing that I made my move and decided to make a dash across the other street to the beer store. It was almost 8:30 PM and the darned thing closed at 8:00 PM. I thought it was only about 7:30 PM. I guess sometimes time flies in Taterland. Later we dropped by where she works and I got to play on an AS-400 puter complete with it's own intranet. I almost didn't have a clue how to work it.

Funny how time seems to go faster when the world around you moves a little slower. Smile [:)]

I was printing a copy of my bank statement for my red tape excursion. I could have used any of the printers on five different continends. I decided to use one of the printers in the next room. The one in Africa was a bit too far away for me.

Look out Moncton. There's a thunderstorm coming your way. Lots of thunder and lightning are in the skies. Oh no......The rain is hitting the metal roof.

    Morning Coffee Chat

It's Thursday. This week is almost over. Thank God!

The sun is shining. The baby crows sound less like cats fighting now and more like their parents at last! My wildflowers are at last in bloom, so I have plenty of color in my flowerbed now. And perhaps best of all ... I'm sipping on a cup of green tea.

My throat is still sore from getting stung yesterday, but my tan looks fabulous after a day at the beach! My dog, who was ill yesterday, has some pep in his step once again.

Yep, today just might work out OK. Smile [:)]

    Re: Morning Coffee Chat

It's a nice sunny day up here too. What a racket last night. That was the worst thunder and lightning I've seen and heard for a long time. I cut the grass here yesterday and couldn't fit the bag on the side of the lawnmower. I was starting to get cranky especially when the crow started laughing away. After filing the bag in a far corner of the garage, possibly never to be seen again, I realized it didn't go on the side but the back of the mower. After putting the bag on right I swear almost every crow in the neighbourhood was up in the trees laughing. Sorry to hear about your throat.

I'm soothing the sting with a fresh cup of Timmies. laughing [laughing]

Today is the day my boys face off in a little league game. I was going to tell them to keep their gloves on, but where's the fun in that?! Stick out tongue [:P] I predict that the Cruisers will win. The Sluggers aren't having a good year. Sad [:(]

If you can't yell to cheer them on you should print up a few signs on the puter.

    Re: Morning Coffee Chat

The bench I usually sit on is between home base and first plate, which is perfect. I have an awesome first base-man, so I can root for him from there. When the other one is at bat, I usually tell him to get a touchdown; he drops the bat to tell me it's called a "home run" every time. Some day he'll realize I just do it to irritate him ... but probably not today. Whistling [whistling]

Some day he'll be telling his kids about their grannie mixing up the two games and they will look at her and think she's senile.
