When I was but a "wee lad" I used to fix Paul Martins "toys", but yes, I have his phone # around here somewhere.

Stephen Harper is "another kettle of fish", but I don't *think he will be PM long enough to worry about it.

That made me curious so I did a google search. As individual members and as a band they seem to have done their share of benefit gigs and fund raising.

Bah Humbug........A popular phrase lately..........Give me $100.00, or whatever the going ticket price is, entertainment money and I will spend it way far better than The Pope Site. I will check the local up and coming bands and see people who play for the love of playing, not just a big show that is the same in every city on a tour agenda. Support your local bands. If they sound bad have a few more beers with the money you saved on the $3.00 vs $100.00 plus cover charge. Have fun. Enjoy raw talent before it makes it big. You never know.......twenty years down the road you may not be able to afford their concert tickets.

K.........if and when the ticket prices for this supposed show are announced, let's see how 'charitable' they are with their fans' wallets.

Is it charity or are they buying good publicity?  That's a question with anyone giving publicly to good causes.  It's up to public perception to weigh the 'good intentions'.
