Well I'm a girl so if I punch him he won't puch me back (well I would hope anyways) and if he does, well then I'll have to break open my karatee don't you think ( I grew up with boys so I got used to getting a beating lol).

The thread was already "brought back from the dead" so I don't feel bad posting in it.

This statement boggles my mind especially coming from CL. I will never ever strike anyone man, woman , child, alien first, if anyone resorts to violence against me and mine first I will retaliate.

I'm a poor, defenseless, weak woman doesn't fly for me if you initiated violence.

Sorry I live by everyone is equal and accountable for their actions. You don't want violence then you don't act violently. It would be illegal and immoral for me to discriminate based on race, age, or gender. Obviously I won't piledrive a 5 year old for hitting me I will however make sure he is unable to do it again. (restraint and delivery to a parent or police) Should a chihuahua get free reign to bite because they are tiny ?

I'm not a fighter, never have been and I promote fight with words not fists however, having said that, I remember a  bloodied-up young man  coming in kitchen door many years ago and announcing, "Mom, I am not going to turn my other cheek ever again and there's nothing you can do or say to make me change my mind."

I much prefer words and diplomacy too and I use them up until the other party chooses to employ stronger tactics once that choice has been made "defend, protect, make it stop" becomes my modus operandi.

    Re: Neighboor Problems

My neighbour.....one of the kids, that is.....on the phone with the window open.....last summer.....

"WHY DID YOU F*** ME THEN! YOU WANT TO BREAK UP WELL WHY DID YOU F*** ME! YOU F***** ME! CAN'T YOU REMEMBER. SHUT UP! LISTEN! YOU F***** ME! YOU F***** ME! YOU F***** ME! YOU F***** ME!"

After about three nights way into the a.m. of this plus the loud punk music, I called the cops.  I felt horrible about doing so because I didn't want to be a tattle tail, but it disturbed my sleep.  The other neighbours were complaining too but nobody called the cops to complain.  The cop on the phone told me that normally it only takes one visit from them to tell them quiet down, so I didn't feel too baggy about that.

Since then, I've called twice.  The last time was the mother screaming that someone owed her twenty bucks and she wanted it back.  That was about 4 a.m.  A young fella, whoever he was yelled back at her that she was just jealous that they had some drugs and she didn't get invited.  The yelling and screaming drove me to the phone.

A bunch of times I've gone over armed with my mouth and some of their garbage to set things straight, but just as I approach their yard, they are going out the driveway in their car.....luckily.

One neighbour told me a couple of daze ago, she saw one of them pissing beside my house.

I dunno what this summer will bring.....oh dear......

What does hubby think of all of this?

He deaf and happy about it.

    Re: Neighboor Problems

You'd like my neighbourhood.  Here's what four houses in a row looked like. First house-stabbing resulting in injury. Second house- great neighbours (both good cooksBig Smile [:D]). Third house-great neighbours (both good cooksBig Smile [:D]). Fourth house-stabbing resulting in death. I live right smack dab in the middle.

    Re: Neighboor Problems

I guess I have a lot to be thankful for.  I'll take the YOU F***** ME over a stabbing any day.

My neighbourhood is very nice, working/retired people, friendly, a few kids and they go to bed at a descent hour.  No complaints.
