After she was euthanized, my vet used an inkpad and took her footprints onto a piece of paper and then the artist traced it on.

Thanks, I wish I could have seen yours but I think it's cause it's on facebook and that site is blocked here at work.

I'm getting another one tonight on the back of my neck, it will be my son's name and maybe date of birth.

Just waiting till it's all over.

    Close....

Yes, Latin = "yield not to adversity"

Not Mandarin, but Kanji = Saisei = "Rebirth"

Cool. Though my point was Proud Anglophone has "not english" permanently inked on their person. I find that ... interesting and unexpected.

I guess I missed your point.

I can see why you would find that unexpected.

And I find that unexpectedness, intriguing. Not enough to delve any further at this time though. They looked cool you wanted them, your name on here is just a screen name, no need for me to get my knickers in a knot and make some kind of a "you obviously don't find all languages other than english disturbing" federal case out of it or anything.

See that right there thats personal growth ... go me... I suspect even more personal growth would have been not making this post in the first place... oh well baby steps on the path to understanding and integrating with society. I can't be normal all at once.

    OK,

The screen name is probably a wrong choice, although, I am anglophone, and happy to be so. That being said, it's not necessarily a good representation of me. The title of my very first thread here was also a poor choice, and the rename that Paladin gave it may not be 100% accurate. I am not anti-bilingualism per say. I'm anti the way it's applied. I know I raved on like a gargantuan prick in some posts, but I'm really not anti French, or any other language. I just don't like the way the government (and SOME French people) shove it down my throat. Anyway, not trying to hijack someone else's thread.
