If The Queen visits a service club she removes her headwear, not because she has to, but because she respects the veterans both dead or alive. I really respect her for that.

I don't think Muslims should all be judged by the violent sect that seems to get the most publicity, thanks mostly to the Bush administration blaming pretty much all terrorism on them and the Islamics.  Never mind the Timothy McVeighs of the world.

But I believe any radical Muslims, or radical anyone for that matter, should be dealt with in a discerning eye from the law.  But not a judgmental one.

Agreeed; most Muslims aren't killers.

That means thay aren;t follow9ing their Koran, which I own, which states that they are to slay Christians and Jews wherever they find them.

Study comparative religion sometime, read their own Bible and see what it demands of them.

Muslims who do not kill are unfaithful to Allah.

I would hope they would remove their turbans. If not, why go to a service club, anyway. I hope they would go someplace else, and I think they would. I think they are religious, not disrespectful. I would wear a turban if I visited their mosque. I will respect them, too, as I hope they would respect me.

K....let me understand this; I know the Koran is full of violence, and it says to do a lot of things that a great deal of domestic Muslims for sure don't do today.  I would guess that what they're doing is allowing their religion to evolve somewhat.

But can't the same be said for the Old Testament?  There's a lot of violence and a rather degrading manner for us to treat women. 

I think common sense rules out in the end.  You can argue that the Bible is God's word, which for the most part I believe it is, but I also believe that in many ways it's man's interpretation of God's word.  Surely the Bible has been interpreted different ways by different sects.

In the end I don't believe that God intends for us to be violent or hateful toward one another.  That's what Jesus taught us.

Good word, Cloudhopper! You hit the nail on the button concerning the teachings of Jesus, who is God:
