My neighbor just got their first computer and they have the new vista. Well, let me tell you they are having a hell of a time working that thing. I saw it and I don't like it at all. Besides what was wrong with the old o/s? Nothing. They just want you spend more money is all that I can see.

Generla statements of "Vista sucks!" doesn't cut it.

What specifically is wrong with Vista?

I've never had a problem... have more security, better multimedia experience and all around better look.

in my opinion vista is alright if you have the extra money to buy new software etc just not compatible with most of the stuff you can run on xp pro.i just got tired of any time i tried to install something it said upgrade and that always had a price

I only have 256 megs of ram. That is only the bare minimum to run XP. As a result I don't have a lot of ram left. If I upgrade to Vista and add at least 256 megs more ram to run it I will have more bells and whistles but still will have no extra ram (or money) left.

vista requires a lot of ram to run it right i have a p4 pc and vista tells me i need 1gig of ram

I have created a version of XP that uses only 32 mb's of RAM.

I can install it for you willie.
