Well I wouldn't know that a basic salary question would raise a real debate on real estate in the area. But thank you anyway. That's very interesting to see how people can raise other questions that can help indirectly, at the moment I'm only looking for a place to rent but I might buy a house someday and maybe in the area. I spoke with the boss of Moncton office (very nice lady by the way) and I would earn 36000$ a year plus boni and my girlfriend too. So I think that's a good start for students who have just finished their studies to earn 72 000$. And we also have 40 000€ we've saved over the year so that's 64 000$. So I think that would be a good down payment... I'm sorry if I talk freely about money I know that in France it's not taboo but I can see that with all the figures I have seen in this topic it's not a problem for you so we're ok!!
Thanks for everything!!

I'd be a bit careful if I were you. $36,000.00 per year is a lot of money around here for a lot of people. With our high unemployment there aren't really a lot of $36,000.00 per year jobs laying around let alone two of them side by each. A lot of companies in Moncton won't even hire husband/wife or boyfriend/girlfriend employees. Something sounds a bit fishy here, almost too good to be true. I hope it isn't a pyramid scheme, or even worse, Kirby opening up again.

Meh talking about money has never really bothered me at all.
You walk around like you're oh so debonair
You pull 'em down and there's really nothing there
I wish you would just be real with me

Hey willie, thanks for your concern, I appreciate. I don't think this is a trick. Actually before answering the ad our teacher in the University was in contact with this company and gave us the brochure. They're friends practically. I got the chief on the phone, that's THE translation agency of the area. I also have contacts in Canada, also translators, and this is the basic salary a junior translator can get, this is what they earn for a start. I will work in the "Head Quarters", the main client is actually the federal government so I don't think this is a trick. As for the boyfriend/girlfriend thing I really don't think that it would be e problem, actually I've mentioned it during the phone interview and it seemed that it wasn't a problem. I have nothing to lose anyway and I trust this company.
Thanks again

Ok but be careful. It sounds a bit too good to be true. I hope you do well.
